Perfect Dress

Have you ever fell absolutly in love with a dress before? I found the perfect dress and I fell in love with it. It is basically me. if you knew me and then looked at the dress it would basically depict my personality. I fell in love with it and I hope I can get it for prom, the only thing is it is 200 dollars.
So have you ever fell in love with a dress?

i pretty much LIVE in dresses in the summer...i have a bunch that i have seen and absolutely Loooooooveed. (and i'm very proud to own them now muahah)

my personality is style is pretty mellow, and classic.
and 3 times i've found a dress and i MUST HAVE THEM because they are SO ME.

got it from banana republic, and fell in LOVE with it.

i LOOOVe this one. it took me FOREVER to find this one...i searched high & lowfor a dress for semi-formal, and then i found THIS baby and fell in LOVE.

and then finally....we have MY PROM DRESS>
the greatest dress ever created.
my mom & i went all the way to montreal to go prom dress shopping, we scheduled an entire DAY to go, and i find THIS thing of beauty in the second store we go into!! I didn't have to look at ANY other dresses because that one was ME on a hanger. Very classic and sophisticated.
I was the ONLY girl at prom with a dress anything like it.
If i were ever invited to the Oscars...I would totally wear it.

it was quite expensive though 400$-ish. but my mom said becase it was my prom dress, and it was the one i reeeally wanted (and i was nominated for prom queen so ihad to look AWESOME ) she got it for me.

I have so many dresses that I love, and some aren't even mine. I don't feel like looking for the pictures.. there's too many. I love dresses. I always wear dresses. I coul dnever live without them!

because i recognize alot of them from betsey johnson and her dresses are all pretty much 250$ plus .....i love my dresses, but i'd rather find one for 80$ at the gap than pay betsey johnson prices!! lol.

i reeally love betsey johnson dresses, and if i find one i LOVE i'll probably save up for it, but i rarely spend more than 80$ on a dress that i'm just going to wear casually around.

if it's for an event or something i'll shell out a little more, but not just just lounging around in the summer. hehe

I actually haven't worn a dress since I was about 6.
I just don't like skirts/dresses.
I'm way more comfy in pants/capris/bermudas.
This past summer I wanted to go look for some cute summer dresses,like light,flowy material.
But my summer was 3 weeks in June,so I didn't have much time to do the whole dress thing.
Maybe this summer if I'm doing better I'll try to get into the dress thing.

Where do you guys get your "casual" dresses. I looked on Delia*s.com but they don't have any really casual/spring dresses out yet. (I know what your thinking "It's winter" but usually they put that stuff out around this time) I'm looking for something maybe to wear to school. So where do you guys get your dresses?

I wear them to grad parties, fancy dinners, banquets, sometimes parties, etc.

i get mine at a bunch of different place, you just kind of have to look around a bit. i've seen some really nice ones @ H&M.

well I guess I started the thread because for me I like dresses but it's really hard for me to LOVE a dress. like really really really love a dress. I found a nice dress that I like for graduation but i haven't found one that I fell in love with, like I fell in love with this dress.

oh yes. I have definitely fallen in love with dresses. Then I have fallen out of love with them as I have gotten older, lol.

If you MUST have this dress, I would suggest making sure you have other events you will wear it to.

If you love it, and have $200 to spend, get it! If you don't you will so regret it. I fell in love with a dress before semi last year, it ws so gorgeous. but at the back you could see my bra and would have to pin it, and my mom didn't like that idea so she wouldn't but it for me. I still regret not buying that dress.

The dresses currently in my closet are from costa blanca, reserved, urban behavior, dynamite, bcbg, mendocino, aritzia, the gap and bebe. I tend to buy cheaper dresses if they are just everyday dresses.
