I also suspect that the amount of "renters" at the fort is probably a very low percentage. While I think a number of 10 renters at any given time may be low, I suspect it's probably more like 10% are renters at any given time
As with most things in forums, these are, of course, MY opinions. Any similarities to your opinions are simply coincidental.![]()
Well maybe not 80, but I certainly think it's more than 10 a week. I can't imagine 3 companies (at least) that will come in and set up the units can survive on 3/4 rentals a week. Let's not forget those that would rent from their local areas and drive/tow them to the fort. Even before we bought ours we looked at renting a Class A. for us, it was quite expensive. (I want to say that it was more expensive then 4 Round Trip tickets non-stop from the small local airport) Plus you still have to buy fuel and anything over 1000 miles was an extra cost. (Since the fort is just over 1K miles from us, it made it REAL expensive). Anyway, while it's expensive for us, it may not have been for others. You really think that in the average week there are 80 trailer rental units at the Fort ??
Good point. But I guess another way to tell rentals is if they have awning lights, chairs, grills, personalized stuff on the unit itself.
on any given day how many of the rv/trailers/motor homes at the fort are rental units? I'm wondering if some of the crazy behavior around the fort is caused by people who don't regularly "camp" and have no campground etiquette.
Agreed (even with 1-4)5) All-in-All, the place is not that "crazy".
This also seems to be the definition of "Norm" at the parks. Sad, but true. While I know it can be worked around with creative timing and fast passes, isn't it a vacation? I don't want to have to stress over such things. So we plan plenty of time to get to most (or all) of the attractions we want, at least once, while on our vacation.6) Now, waiting in a ride line for 1-2 hours, THAT is the definition of crazy.
