Pepsi in WDW?

WDW did actually have Pepsi, waaaay back in the "old days". But with Coke being such a big sponsor on property, I'm sad to say, Pepsi hasn't got much of a chance.
I suppose there is always the possibility that Coke could pull it's support. It HAS happened with a number of other sponsors at WDW. {GE comes to mind}
DW and I would sure prefer Pepsi.... :drinking1

If Pepsi wanted to be on Disney property all they would have to do is out-bid Coke whenever the current contract expires.

Did you know WDW gets all there Coke products for FREE. It's no wonder they have only Coke products. That's OK by me, I'm a Coca-Cola Girl!
No they don't. They pay for their Coke products just like any other business - but I'll bet they get a good volume discount.

Just because Coke is a sponsor - that doesn't mean that Disney gets their products for free.

You can get Pepsi Products at the three Hess Express Gas Stations on property. The most convenient (without a car) should be the one that is very close to the Boardwalk Resort.

Ha. my wife makes us stop on the way in, and it's the first thing we get at the airport on the way out.

But you can't get a "fountain" Pepsi there.

As I come from the only area in the country where Pepsi outsells Coke, I have to settle when at WDW, too.

Also, for any science geeks out there, when I was in college as a chemistry major, Mr. Pibb was our official drink because PIBB = particle in a box beverage

The lack of Pepsi helps me out, as I'll be more likely to drink my share of water with no Pepsi available! :rotfl2:

I would prefer diet pepsi, but it saves me money as we bring in our own or buy water.

My BIG WISH would be for Starbucks to link up with Disney, now that would be heaven !!! :love:

I'm pretty sure GE ended their sponsorships because of the result of several mergers they own Universal Studios and it was a conflict of interest legally from a shareholders point of view.

That's - not - gum....
Yea, what is it?

Starbucks... :coffee: now that's an idea. Pepsi or no Pepsi, doesn't matter to me since I can go back and forth from Pepsi to Coke. :drinking1
