I ate at Tutto Italia a couple of weeks ago, and ordered a diet Coke. It tasted weird to me, and then tonight I had Pepsi, which I rarely drink. Is there any chance that Tutto Italia serves Pepsi instead of Coke?

No, I imagine you may have gotten a 'bar' foutnain diet coke which is typically less bubbly and often more syrupy than a 'regular' fountain diet coke.

Disney is pretty much the epitome of an all-Coke venue.

There are no Pepsi products available at any food service location at WDW. Disney has an exclusive deal with Coca-Cola.

There's not even any Pepsi products at the gas stations located on WDW property. We stopped at the Hess station across from DTD to fill up and get drinks before we started home, I was shocked that they only had Coke products. It didn't dawn on me until later what the deal was.

The only Pepsi product I like is MT Dew. I'm lucky, we drive down and we take plenty with us :thumbsup2

Yeah we drive too! :lmao: I wish I could, but it would probably take a week each way. I love the Dew also. I actually love a 1/2 Dew 1/2 Sierra Mist mix......

I'm not about to ship a 12 pack of Pepsi or take it on the plane with me so I have to live without. It's a good thing they have vitamin water now at WDW, I love that stuff too.

That was my first thought too, but it seemed to be a different taste, and not a different texture. Then I had a Pepsi the other night that tasted similar to what I had at Tutto Italia, and I thought that since Tutto Italia isn't directly owned by Disney, maybe they served Pepsi instead?

But probably not.

I had forgotten how much different Pepsi tastes it'd been so long since I had it, but I had a friend over the other night who only drinks Pepsi, and not Coke, so I bought a bottle for her, and that's why we have it, otherwise I'd only drink Coke at home.

Off topic, but does anyone know if they make Pepsi Jazz Strawberry anymore, I haven't seen it in ages, (which probably answers my question,) but does anyone know if it's still available?

Pepsi jazz was a limited time thing and as far as I know it's no longer available.

I prefer pepsi products but I grew up on them at grandma's house so it's happy memories for me. She only bought pepsi and we could only have it at dinner once a week at her house :).

Sometimes from the fountain if it's low on syrup it will have an odd taste.

That's a bummer, I really liked the Jazz flavors, especially the strawberry.

At my house my mom always liked Pepsi too, and that's what I always had when I was little, but when I was in high school I started drinking Coke, and that was it.

There have been many times when I have had a coke or diet coke at WDW and did not like it as it tasted too sweet. Mostly this has come from bottled cokes, not the fountain drinks.

Not sure if this is due to the bottling, use of local water, or some other reason. But it definitely tastes sweeter than what I am used to in NC. I can see where you might mistake it for Pepsi as we thought the same thing. I prefer Coke as it is less sweet, but not this stuff!

I am a diet PEPSI lover! I will drink diet Coke if I HAVE to...but not by choice. One time we flew to Disney and I was so worried about not having my Diet Pepsi. Some friends of ours were going down at the same time and drove their motor home. So, the day before we left, I took two cases of diet pepsi to their house and loaded it in their RV. HEAVEN!!! :lmao: Other times when we have flown, I have ordered Pepsi's from the garden grocer (along with a few other items) and had them delivered to the hotel. Literally, I cannot go a week without my diet pepsi! :rotfl2:

I am a diet cole drinker and I do not like the diet coke at WDW. It definitely tastes like pepsi to me. I think it has to do with where it is made. I have been to other parts of the country and have noticed the same thing. My DH, sho only drinks diet pepsi likes the diet coke at WDW!
