Peppermint Pedicures

I looked online for an hour and still couldn't find the information on the peppermint pedicures at the Saratoga Spa. So I finally had to just post it.

Does anyone know anything about these? I was told they were only offered around the holidays and only at this spa but havent seen anything on this site or relaxedyet.com. My mother and my aunt are going the first full week of November and I would love to get it for them on the last full day there. Any info would be a big help!

They do offer them at the holidays. They are available at SSR spa, I would check out SSR's web site or contact the Spa for appointments. Usually there is something about them in Member News.

I had this done in december 2005 and really enjoyed the pedicure. Plan to have it done again this December. Susan

Anyone can make an appointment for the spa. You don't have to be a DVC member. DVC members do get a discount on some (not all) of the services offered.

I called to schedule a "peppermint pedicure" for this past July. The spa told me they only do them at the holidays. Then when my daughter and I went for ours, the technician was using a lovely minty oil on me. I mentioned how I had wanted the "peppermint pedicure" and couldn't get it, but that this one smelled good, too. She said, "Oh, we are using the exact same oils!"
SO...
I am guessing one of two things. 1) Maybe they just bill it as a "peppermint" pedicure at the holidays to excite business or 2) My tech loves these particular oils and uses them year round.
I bet if you ask for peppermint scents, you would be able to have them regardless of the time of year.
Regardless, the pedicure was quite lovely and we plan to do it again!!
