Pepper Market Takeout?

How does takeout work at Pepper Market? I know they try to seat you. Do you just say you're getting takeout? Are you still charged the 10% gratuity? Thanks.

We have never done take out (except muffins and coffee/cappaucino at the coffee window). However, I remember reading on one of the threads that they do not charge you the 10% for take-out.

Just tell the hostess that you are doing takeout. They will hand you a ticket with a takeout stamp on it, so when you get to the cashier they do not charge the 10%. We've done this many times. We like to take our food and go sit at the tables by the lake.

Just make sure you ask for a "TO GO" ticket which has a stamp on it. If there is a line waiting to be seated, just go to the front and tell the host/hostess you want a TO GO ticket.

I may go there now. I didnt want to go in and sit down. DS & I did that a few years ago and its really not the setup for us.
