I see that the Pepper Market is on the dining plan as a counter service. Has anyone been there lately on the dining plan? Were there limitations to what you could order? Some of the items on the menu are much more expensive than many of the other counter service choices. Anyone have info on this? Thanks!

ksjayhawkfan-thank you so much for the info. Please let me know how things go for you at the Pepper Market when you get back. Also, I would love to hear all about your impressions of the resort when you return!! Have a great trip!!

Don't be all excited about the Pepper market. The food is really not good, not good at all. If you aren't staying at CS's, definately don't make a special trip over just to eat there.

No problem :) I will make sure I post a report about CSR when we get back too, we're very excited about staying there. We are also eating at Maya Grill, so I can give ome info about that as well. :goodvibes

We thought the food at Colorado Springs Pepper Market was really good. DH wants to stay at CS because he liked Pepper Market so much.

We've had the steak and potato dinner and the BBQ pulled pork sandwich and some kids food. We've made a special trip there on every trip - usually on our arrival day or a day off from the parks (like when we go to Blizzard Beach).

I have tried Pepper Market(though not through the dining plan)and thought the food was scrumptious. All the food is made fresh and is always hot. I have had food at the Value food courts and believe me Pepper Market is way better and alot more quiet too!Don't forget on the dining plan you won't have to worry about that pesky automatic 10% gratuity!

Ya'll keep us updated on the Pepper Mkt, maya grill, and CSR of course. I'm really excited about hearing your review. I can't wait until September!

I just wanted to mention that we loved the Pepper Market. It was kind of confusing at first, but once we got the hang of it, it was great. We had really good experiences with the food. I don't know about the dining plan part of your question, but if anyone finds out for sure let me know!! :goodvibes

We also like the Pepper Market. Better than Mara and Boma at AKL for us.
We just had to go back there one time this trip.;)

We love the food at the Pepper Market. Everything is made fresh while you wait, which sometimes makes for long lines. In April we had the chicken fajitas, chicken quesidilla, taco salad, turkey club wrap & made to order pizza (tomato & black olive). We shared everything & it was all fresh & delicious!

I called Pepper Market yesterday and spoke with one of the managers about any potential "selection parameters" that might have recently been put in place. His explanation about the breakfast choices pretty much confirmed Winnie's description (but, IMO, dining plan cs breakfast offerings at most of the participating venues come across as rather limited when compared to non-breakfast offerings at same places....). He also told me that at any other time of dining, there are no restrictions, and, yes, you can get that grilled rib-eye! However, he said that dessert choices are "limited to a cookie or muffin, because that is all that Disney allows on cs"--this is the one thing I find a little hard to believe as accurate, and certainly peculiar given that the $ entree item isn't restricted! Also haven't read any trip reports from Dis'ers indicating dessert restrictions at other cs venues, so go figure. Best bet is just to ask the server at the PM dessert station and go with that response-of-the-moment (IMO, cs dessert not worth making an issue over).TT

I enjoyed the food at Pepper Market - very good - large portions, but they denied my DDE card/letter, said they don't accept it - but Maya Grill did. So I only ate at PM once since I couldn't get my DDE discount.

Okay - does anyone know what qualifies as a snack at Pepper Market, as far as the Dining Plan?

We love the food at the PM. To each their own I always say
