Can someone tell me if they know if the weekends are more crowded then the weekdays, or is it the same?

Weekends are always more crowded. Saturday is the busiest day for Disneyland and Sunday seems to be the busiest for California Adventure.

Weekends are definitely busiest. We always try to arrange our trip so we can go during the week.

I don't know what time of year you are talking about, but I can tell you that we have been in early June the past two years, and both times Saturday and Sunday were pretty low crowds and Monday and Tuesday were horrible. I'm guessing it depends on the time of year and whether any of the annual passholders are blocked out.

This is very true! It all depends on the time of year.

That is the only time it happened the other 50 weeks were different. You saw that because of the opening of WoC and LM and reopening of ST when APs were blocked on the weekend and allower in on weekdays. A few weeks later SoCal APs were blocked so they went while they could experience the new stuff.

In general weekends are busiest. But if you go in offseason only weekends will have full entertainment, so it may be a bad choice to avoid them in some cases.

Definitely this. The early June openings (WOC/LM/ST) skewed the early June numbers dramatically the last two years. I certainly wouldn't count on it happening again next year. Friday has full entertainment, or at least evening entertainment in the off season. a Thursday-Friday "weekend" would be great.

Weekends are usually more crowded. During high season that is a bad thing. During off-season it is a good thing.
