People who think once is enough to wdw???

I understand I guess-comparatively, the water is cleaner here than up north. Personally, I'm a pool person unless I'm down in the islands. I have to be able to see through my water.

Regarding the benny term I think others will agree it is used from about mid-Monmouth county and south. I work in Monmouth and the locals use the term quite frequently-ask someone that lives in Belmar, Bradley Beach or Asbury. I'm all the way down by LBI and we still call them that here.

I live in Monmouth County - now you have to PM me and tell me where you work! - and we all use it, too. But don't they call the Philly peeps "shoobies" because they either 1. Wore sneakers and not flip-flops and 2. Brought their lunches in shoe boxes? That's what my Philly inlaws tell me they got called as kids going to "the shore".

We will have to agree to disagree about NJ beaches and water - I hear what you're saying, though. Nothing beats the Caribbean. I do belong to a pool club, but we're ten minutes from the beach and go every chance we get - went last week, in fact. :)

Happy Summer, everyone!:cool1:

Oh, and I call people Bennys but with affection. Please, come down here and keep the local businesses in business! We're glad you like it here, too!

I've heard the comments. For MANY MANY it is a once in a lifetime opp. even if its because they make it that. Some save for a long long time just to go so I could never be that upset with someone looking confused but still the see the world comment is a bit much.

I've been many times. DD went when she was 2 and will go again at 4 if plans work out and I know it will not be her last. I went as a child(10) and then quite a few more times as a teen because we have family near WDW and its always been a little easier financially.

I've stopped telling people, including my own mother, that we go anymore....
(we live in different states...) It sounds horrible, we don't lie, we just don't talk about it. It has become easier than hearing all about "I can't believe...."
I'm sure for many of you there's no further explanation required....
We did get to the point though, that we said we'd give WDW a break for a while, and then my DH asked if we wanted to come to CA with him on a business trip in October.... well, look at my ticker, and guess what????
He said to give WDW a break, not Disneyland!!! ;)

Oh,I just love this board! Well, this November will be our third trip since March 2006. Just like someone else said, you either "get it" or you dont. My BIL & SIL always make comments about us going to DW so much. Yet, he has three children and she has six and neither one have ever taken their kids anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We love our children, and they love disney as much as we do, so Disney is the ultimate vacation for our family.:cool1: I am 33yrs old and feel like a little girl everytime I see Cindy's Castle. They can see Paris and London when they no longer want to vacation with boring old DM & DD.

Im lucky in that both my parents take me on holiday.
Mom to the 'cultural' places.
Dad to WDW.

I could never stop going to disney though. For one thing, its changing constantly, and you'll NEVER see it all, not even if you stayed there for a year. And it just makes you feel so happy.
I think its fair to say that Im addicted.

In Croatia last year I happened to say I was bored [because God forbid I say what Im feeling] and my mom snapped at me, and was like "Oh well Im sorry its not Disneyworld". Geez, calm down woman =/
