So I was in my Economics class today, and there is this one girl on the vollyball team in my class. Well it started off with her showing everyone this bruise on her knee saying, "how tough vollyball is". I almost yelled at her, "you think thats bad? you should have seen some of the injuries I had playing street hockey back in Canton" (where I used to live). Well the next thing she said when someone pointed out how bad the vollyball team is is this. "Our school isn't good in any sports".

I was like..."Uhhhhhhhhh hello? What world do you live in? Our football team whet 8-2 and went to the state playoffs. JV football went 9-0. Our baseball team won their devision. Our swim team dominates, and so does our track team."

So, any airheads at your school?

ok first of all, being the captain of my volleyball team, volley ball is NOT EASY!!! I'm not saying there are alot of injuries, but just because it isnt dangerous, doesnt mean its not hard. im sure me and my jv volleyball team could beat you and your friends a volleyball any day! and you can get seriously injured during volleyball, i almost broke my ankle and wrist. and beleive i can go on and on about this.

my school wins with the air head contest. One time last year, there was this girl. She was black. Someone refered to black people as "african americans" she went, "oh no you didnt' just call me no african" (exact quote, not joking here) and the girl that said it went "you're and african american" she raised her hand and said, "mrs M. am I an african?"


we still talk about that one.

i personally hate sports...and thats usually what my stupid school is all about. sports are not everything. and i hate that its all the school cares about is sports. im involved a lot in the drama dept. and thats full of the worse people. the highest class of drama you can be at my school is comprehensive theater, and these kids are usually seniors, so of course theyre sufforing senioritis. they think their crap doesn't stink, when they are the most boring actors i think ive ever seen. they had to do a skit they were doing for districts a couple months back, and i as the assistant stage manager asked them if they needed a prompter, just in case. they said: "excuse me, but do you know who WE are? we don't need and stupid prompter!" they actually ended up skipping three pages of the play. which was, of course, hilarious to me because i cant stand them.

as tech crew, we get pushed around a lot by the people performing. they dont seem to realize theyre messing with the people that are making them look good.

I'm sure you could beat my friends at it. But you try suiting up in hockey gear and playing full on hockey, or playing tackle football, and you'll know what I'm talking about. A bruise is nothing. Playing street hockey I've....




Broken my wrist

Gotten wicked road rash

Completely screwed my right knee

Almost broke my left knee (the patella bone to be more exact)

Busted up my face by getting hit it the face with a puck (playing goalie without a facemask is not a good idea)

I've gotten scrapes like nobody's business, some that got infected





And there were many other times where if I wasn't wearing my pads, I would have been injured worse. Once I fell down, and my glove saved my hand from gettin run over by some kid's skate. So needless to say, I don't want to hear ANYBODY complain about a small bruise.

ok, i get the bruise thing. but as i said before, just because it isnt dangerous, doesnt mean its not hard. and i dont just play volleyball, i also play feild hockey, which IS a dangerous sport. i almost got a couple of concussions from it. and i dont think i would mind playing football, i actually told my school that they should start a girls football team, but because there are no other schools with girls football teams we wouldnt be able to play any games.

Ohhh talk about airheads... Basically my entire World Affairs class is FILLED with them.
At least once every day, they make idiotic and complelty airheaded comments.... it's so funny, because that class, all we do is talk about the news of the day. So it's funny when we are talking about stuff, and it'll be about a really well-known person/group/etc, and they'll be like who?
For example, we were talking about Carlotta Scott King's death, and this girl was like Who was her husband? What did he do?
