People of the Park

I looked, just to see. I've read more interesting cattle feed websites.

I tend to be a tish over the top at times. Mostly just on vacation to make sure I break from everyday life.

This site just seemed narrow minded and cruel.

I'm sorry, but these kind of things really bother me. I know, I should "lighten up" and "let people have their fun". But I think these things are designed to be hurtful and mean.

Why do we get so much joy out of making fun of other people? Are we really all that insecure that we have to poke fun at others in order to feel better about ourselves? :confused3

Why should you have to ligten up and let people have their fun, as they are having their fun at other peoples expense? I totally agree with your comments and I like to think I am quite easy going, but I would be so upset if I ended up on here.

There was about 2 photos I thought were mildly amusing, but anything with comments about peoples looks, clothes, size were just rude in my opinion.

Also if this was going on at your childs school with the same sort of comments parents would be up in arms about bullying etc why is this any different.

Honestly, I don't like the first part of American Idol for the same reason and I've been told to "lighten up" and "let people have their fun". I see those early shows as an opportunity for people to poke fun at others and everyone just LOVES it. Sure those people do choose to audition, but you can't tell me that the studio folks aren't picking untalented people just for the purpose of getting people to watch and laugh at them.

Eeew! Didn't think they were funny but mean spirited and made me cringe. Hard to believe there are people spending their precious park time making fun of other guests.

Wow, really mean spirited! One of the things I love about WDW is that people who probably wouldn't feel comfortable in South Beach, don't have to worry about being judged on things such as fashion and body image. It is just people having fun with family and friends, not a place for judgement.

It seems that there are a great many people who spend a great deal of their precious LIFE time making fun or belittling others.

i could not agree more.........with both of you...........now if you will excuse me i am going down and sit beside the ceeeement pond.

I don't think it's very funny either. I mean it's what Disney is all about people of all ages sizes and ethnicties getting together and having a wonderful time.

Well I've had a look and I think that the people making fun of others is just so very, very sad and pathetic :sad2: :sad2::sad2:. Nothing funny at all!

i have always thought of these things in the vein of the old feeding the christians to the lions times. someone would be up in the stands cheering and yelling and having a good old time...then someone looks up and yells......YOUR TURN.......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................not so funny after all..........

I can't help but thinking...

I'm going to Disney next week and I don't exactly look like Gisele Bündchen , is my picture going to end up on this site

I completely agree with this. When I am at WDW, I honestly could give two hoots what people think about the way I am dressed. For example, I am someone that is self-conscious in a bathing suit at home but when I am at WDW, I don't mind so much being in my swimsuit because I am among other guests, having a great time, and I honestly feel that no one is looking at my body in a swimsuit, they are to busy having a good time themselves.

I would say ANY of us could be on this site, unless you happen to fit the description of "perfect" the website administrators obviously have in their minds. I would think that would be a VERY small group.

as i stated earlier that site is mean spirited.........but.............we all fall prey to this at one time or another. every once in awhile in the summer i see a guy wearing the old fashioned "shorter" shorts that guys wore in the early 80's and dress shoes and black socks...........and i just want to go up and slap his wife.

not a good site at all. I can handle if you want to make fun of what I wear, but don't make fun of who I am.

Internet bravery always amazes me. The people who post on that site are of weak character and petty. If you confronted them face to face for taking your picture in the park I'm sure they would run away. Small minded people need to belittle others to make themselves feel better about how pathetic they are. It's just another form of bullying. I hate bullys.

Very well said Paul :goodvibes

The pics of the overweight couple on their scooters are very mean spirited. Those two pictures, in particular, bothered me quite a bit.
