People are not kidding about Website issues

i just booked AKV, 1 bedroom Savannah view for March 2016 184 points, or did i....

When I went to book 184 points were sitting in 2015 UY. Went through the booking process and got to the last screen when it crashed. So I though ok I didn't finish I'll do it again. This time I got an error message so I looked and saw my points had gone. Ok I thought it must have booked so i looked at my reservation no no reservation. So i start to panic no points no reservation.

eventually it occurred to me to look at my points transaction. After it crashed a couple of times it finally told me i had made a reservation and gave me the reservation number. I put it in MDe and it worked but still no confirmation on DVC member.

Until the problem happens to you, it's not much of an impact just reading about other peoples problems.

I had an issue a couple of weeks ago with our account that caused me to bank before booking. It just didn't seem correct even though the DVC website reported that we didn't have any correct points left. After making the new reservation, I went over my records and the activity on our account and it proved that the website was incorrect. I sent an email to MS, they responded in a few days stating that they know about the website issues, they unbanked the points, corrected our account and used the correct points for the reservation.

Makes we wonder how many errors are never caught.

I vote that we start charging Disney a fine for all of the extra work they cause us. They post record profits but they won't fix the basics. Not the Disney that I grew up with. :-(

Yes.... The website is constantly crashing, giving wrong info, or not letting you log in. It's horrible.
 
The website has gotten so bad that I literally hold my breath when I click the "book" button hoping it actually goes through. How sad is that? :crazy2:
 

This happened to me last night! I am one that has never had issues, but I always read about them. Last night, I decided to book for my birthday in February and saw 5 of the 7 nights available in an AKV value studio. It took 5 times to get them, and one of the times I had to wait for the room to show back up because it was in that in between place. Then it took me 3 times to wait list one night and 2 times to wait list the other night. Very frustrating!! I totally understand!!
 
I actually called member services about this reservation and I'm glad i did. I explained i couldn't see it on my upcoming reservations so they called IT. Turns out it was made but wasn't pulling from inventory so they had to cancel and rebook. Scary as if i hadn't called they would have overbooked the room.
