Ok- these penny presses are new since I've been there...though I've done them elsewhere....

Do they cost 51 cents there too?

ALSO..I'm looking at the list (THANKS C hristi!) & it says things like " pooh 1 of 7 pooh 2 of 7 pooh 3 of 7...... and bear in big blue houese bear 1 of 7, pip & pasop 3 of 7w, randall 3 of 6, boo 4 of 6...

HELP me understand this!??!? Are there 6 different things to choose from on this penny press & 4 of the 6 are of Boo???

OH MY now I"m REALLY CONFUSED trying to explain it to you!!!

No...most machines have up to 3 pennies to choose from...but there might be 7 different Pooh's to collect altogether. In other words, there may be several different designs of Poohs, but you will have to travel all over WDW to eventually find all of them! Hope that makes sense!

:confused3 :confused3 Has anyone gotten this list from Christi???

I still don't understand how it's all worded.... here's another example...

Disney;s all star movies resrto penny food court formal mickey mouse, 2 of 6 fixing bowtie (V) TOY story, DIno (H) TOystory, Buzz Light Year (v)

Another example.....
Disney-MGMsea penny celebrity 5&10 roger rabbit incar lady & tramp 3 of 6 baloo 3 of 6....

so what does that 3 of 6 mean???There are only 6 Baloo's to be found anywhere on WDW property & 3 of them are there in that 1 press???

And what do the letters mean in parentheis???? ex: (v) :confused3

HOW Much do they cost???? and what do you do with them all? Is there a book? How much is the book???

Let's see if I can help you!

Each machine has three designs to choose from. The pennies will cost $.51 each - two quarters and one penny. The letter in parentheses tells you if the design is vertical or horizontal.

The designs that are in a series (1 of 7) have a total of 7 different designs but only one is offered at that machine. So "Lion King 3 of 6" might be Simba, another machine in another location might have "Lion King 4 of 6" and that design could be Scar. Supposing you found all of the designs in the series (scattered ALL OVER WDW) then you could have 6 different "Lion King" pennies in sequential order (1 of 6, 2 of 6, etc.) each with a different character.

Did that make sense?

The machines that say "quarter" press a quarter and they cost more.

There is a book you can get but it only holds about 30 or so pennies. It costs about $7. We will be buying another one when we go back because DS filled up the one we bought in January.

OH!!! I GET IT NOW!!! I'm a little slow!! PK!! REAL SLOW~~ :rotfl2:
So the pennies are numbered or just the machines??? are they dates by the year or anything? I'm thinkg a whole set could definitley be worth something 1 day especailly if they are #ered.....

Sorry I'm so DUMB! :earseek:

The penny will say "1 0f 6" or whatever under the design. But the pennies aren't limited in quantity. If you had a lot of time and a lot of change you could stand there all day and make pennies because the machine just has the image that it presses into the coin - it isn't like the machine will "run out" of pennies like a vending machine runs out of soda cans.

I never thought about a complete set of pennies being worth something to a collector in the future. I wouldn't make them for that reason, just in case they aren't ever worth more than a penny! :flower:
