Penny Press Questions

1. How many penny-press machine are there around WDW?
2. How much is it to operate the machines?
3. Do they tacke Canadian pennies? (the same size, weight and material as the US pennies) I'm thinking about taking a roll of shiny pennies to be pressed, but I can only obtain shiny penny rolls in Canadian funds.

It is 2 quarters and a penny...I would suggest a new penny..it comes out better...

They also have a book you can buy to store them in...My kids 4 and 8 loved it....we did about 10...they took it to show and tell when they came home!!

I have searched long and hard about the pressed pennies.. YOu want to use US pennies pre- 1982. They are made out of all copper and make a much better imprint than the new ones.. The imprint on the new ones is not that 'hard'. I took pre- 1982 pennies on our trip and they look much better and you can see the image better than on a shiny new penny..

Now how do you shine up old pennies? Soak them in Vinegar and brush them with an old toothbrush.

Yes there are some change machines around. I was just there Nov 7-10 and I noticed several change machines.
I know for sure there was one in MK under the train station, and I know I saw others, I just don't remember where exactly.

You can get a list of where all the machines are located by asking at Guest Services in the parks.
There are also lists available on the net, I printed some out before I left, right now I don't remember where i found those lists.
Just start looking around and I am sure you will find the lists, and if I remember where I found them I will let you know.
