Will Canadian pennies work? Just trying to get some shiny bright pennies!

Is there anywhere onsite you can purchase a roll of US quarters? Preferably an onsite resort? Mind you I guess I could use the laundry room change machine? (Apparently Canadian Banks will not ship it in - I've called a few today.) Or can I purchase it at MCO?

As long as they're the same size and thickness as US pennies, I don't see why Canadian pennies wouldn't work. Just be sure to use US quarters, though!

You could probably exchange a few bills for quarters at the resort gift shop or at any CS place. Have fun - I love collecting shiny, squashed pennies!

You probably wouldn't have an issue at the exchange place. Almost anywhere you can ask for a roll of quarters, and a roll of pennies.

Haven't tried a canadian penny before in the machines, but the design is usually made for an american penny. At least you'd only loose 50 cents and a funny looking penny if it doesn't work out.

I bought a roll of quarters at the food court of my resort last year, just make sure they aren't super busy when you ask!

We tried using a Canadian penny in a penny press last year and it would not work. What we do and have did in the past is collect all the U.S. coins that come in our change and use that. A lot of U.S. coins are given as change in stores here.
