This was going on for a long time. You could certainly make a case that there was some cover up going on to protect Penn State, it's football program, and anyone associated with it.

why would I think that "less cover up" or less time between them doing something about the abuse going on would be better than what is going on now for Penn St? are you kidding me? You'd think that they would want that guy in jail the second it happened not cover it up and let it keep happening for THIS to happen... That's really weird, I knew the guy who wrote that, he was a police sergeant in State College while I was there
