Is there any place I could get food while I wait for my train? Also I will be lugging my bags off the first train and waiting in penn station. What do I do with all my stuff?. Where do I go when I get off my first train to connect to my train for Orlando? any help would be great. I tried the Amtrak site and I did not get much.

Theres a retaurant in penn over in the amtrak area, theres also some quick places to get food. Its not to difficult to navigate either, you should be able to easily find your connecting train just dont venture into LIRR than your in the wrong place lol, but if you want more food option theres more restaurants in the LIRR area. Theres a TGI fridays, McDonalds, pizza and other fast food places.

There are many places, both sit down and grab and go to get something to eat in Penn station. There are also drug stores, shops etc...in case you need to purchase something else. You will want to keep your bags with you at all times, otherwise I beleive that they still have lockers to rent if you have an extra long layover. When you get off your first Amtrak train you will come to a huge area with all of the Amtrak tracks and ticket booths. You will see a big board will all of the trains listed. Simply wait there (there are seats in the waiting area as well) for your gate to come up and proceed to your gate. If you happen to wander off throughout Penn, just follow the signs back to the Amtrak area as it is quite well marked.

Have a great trip! :)

There's a ton of fast food/counter service types of places. There's also a Charley's or something along those lines on the concourse level near the big board around the corner from the rest rooms. If you are looking at the ticket counters with the waiting area behind you it will be to your right. It's pretty quiet during the day but gets loud and crowded around happy hour.

If you are standing in the place I descirbed there's a deli and a pizza place to your left and behind you that are OK. Acros from them is a Krispie Kreme and a hot dog place.

You can check your bags that you won't be carrying on when you get to the station, but you'll need to keep carry-on's with you. DO NOT check any valuables!!!

There are no lockers.

There are plenty of places to eat. If you are in the main concourse looking at the board, turn around and there is a Houlihan's. Next door to that is what I would call a mini-mini food court with a Dunkin' Donuts stand and some other fast food inside. You then have a book shop and a bar and then Krispy Kreme a little further.

If you go down any stairs from the Amtrak area you will be in the LIRR section where there a lot more food joints and what not.

Isnt there a ruby tuesdays there too? its been a while since ive been to penn station but i kinda remember that.
