Inspired by this thread (and since we can't get back down to WDW until December) we took one of our many stuffed penguins - Rocky (he's a Rockhopper penguin - very original name, we know...) to the Jacksonville Zoo!

First Rocky welcomes you to Florida, where wild Penguins abound:

Next Rocky makes friends with a gorilla... statue...

Then Rocky says, "Plants? Who wants plants? Where are the fish!?"

"Mmmmm... there's the fish! Nummy, nummy, nummy..."

Then Rocky met the head bird keeper. She was nice enough to pose with him for a souvenier.

Then Rocky was tired and needed a nap in the shade... it's hot in Florida in July, especially for a penguin!

Then he rode the carousel! Weeeee!

Who knew that Spider Monkeys liked penguins, too? They're very smart primates.

Then Rocky got to sit on a replica ostrich egg.... "Ouch!"

Then it was time for a refreshing drink... maybe some future endorsements? Who knows... the Pepsi Penguin!

Finally, Rocky went nuts and thought he was Steve Irwin (the Crocodile Hunter)!!!

All in all a very busy day for Rocky. He met many other new animal friends, including some mono-chromatic friends like Zebras and Benobos monkeys, but Rocky is tired of uploading them to photobucket at the moment because it is being annoying and he lacks opposable thumbs, so it is hard enough without technical difficulties!
