Pending, Pending..

I'm starting to get a little worried.

I'm a new applicant to the Disney College Program (not restricted-rehire or anything like that). I did the phone interview on January 26th. I think I did fine with that, though I didn't get much response from my interviewer during the phone interview. On February 9th, I got a pending email, which would be the last email I would get from Disney to this point. I got the pending letter a couple of days later in the mail. The letter was dated February 5th.

Now zoom ahead to yesterday (February 23rd). Tuesday was the 4-week mark since my interview. I called the Disney CP number and they told me I was still pending. They gave me the April 30th date to wait till, but the CM I talked to on the phone said they try to make decisions much sooner than that. Throughout this past couple of weeks, I have seen people get accepted and I'm still waiting.

I hope a purple email or folder comes to me soon. I'm starting to get nervous and think I missed something in my interview. I checked 9 roles on my checklist. The wait is nerve wracking.

I just wanted to let everyone know what is going on. I hope an acceptance comes soon so I'm no longer pending. Until then, I'll continue to think purple and wait..

Oh I am sorry to hear about this. I know how hard the wait is. My wait was terrible, its all I could think about. I'm sure pending isnt a bad thing. Keep your hopes up!! Positive thoughts!!

I'm in the same boat with you. I just received a letter from Disney saying that my "status is pending a final decision...Our team is evaluating your qualifications and you will be contacted with an update on your status by April 30th."

It kinda sounds like they're saying IF there are any more positions available, we'll contact you.

I hoping that's not the case but I guess we'll see.

I believe after the CP Auditions availibilty will be higher. I'm not sure when that is but maybe after April 30th those who audtioned will find out their new roles thus opening more roles for those who are currently pending at that date and time.

I wouldn't worry yourself about it. I'm not a CP myself (I'm doing the ICP), but my phone interview was in September, and my face to face interview is next week (very long wait!). Granted things are probably handled very differently for CPers, but don't drive yourself crazy over it. I did, and the past few months have been dreadful!

me my gf and her sister are all in the same boat as you guys haha. we are all pending but only my gf and i are auditioning. but i called last week and the lady said that i should probably hear back before i audtion in sf on the 28th soo ya. i guess all we can do is be patient.
