Pending charges not released after 3 weeks

We had a huge family vacation with 16 people and 5 rooms June 28-July 4th. I used a registered gift card for two rooms to avoid a massive draw on our primary card. AoA posted $120 per room upon check-in and it is still pending after 3 weeks. All of the food and merchandise charges posted over 2 weeks ago.

Does anyone know who I can call to get these removed?

My hold with Disney cleared a week after I got back this month. I’m guessing the delay is with your bank. Did you use a debit card? I’ve ready holds can last up to 30 days with debit cards.

That might be on your bank/credit cards end....sometimes it's Disney but usually it's just your bank/credit card.

Depending on the bank, some take up to two billing statements to clear. Chase (which are all the ATM's at Disney) clears in 7-10 days.

We had the same problem in June with a prepaid card. I sent an email to guest services. They told me to contact the credit card company and file a dispute.
