We did on line check in about 3 weeks ago. When we submitted headshots and passports (family of 3), everything was accepted accept my headshot. All our headshots were taken the same way with the same background. I tried submitting another headshot and a third headshot via computer camera and all of them not accepted. I've been in pending approval since on line check in. I just checked status and now we're all in pending approval. Is this unusual? A big problem? What should we do?

There were many people at the “normal” check in guests taking care of stuff like this. I would not worry about it. Online check in saves THEM from more staff? I am going to ask at Guest Services who to contact about this online check in annoyance. Not that it exists, but that it does stuff like this. The IT sucks.

Sailing in 9 days and still in pending approval. Nothing to worry about as it can all get fixed at the port. One doesn’t need to resolve pending approvals to arrive at the port and check in there. Hope this helps relieve some stress!

We sailed the week before Thanksgiving and a photo that was approved in May had to be resubmitted. I wasn't cleared until a week before sailing. Try not to stress about it, worst case they fix it as port.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I appreciate it and does put my mind at ease. Another question, please: Since we're still pending, should I not only bring our passports, should I also bring our birth certificates and driver's licenses? And maybe vaccination cards just in case? For those of you who had to go thru this and get things figured out at port, would those documents be needed?

Passports should be sufficient. The birth certificates and DLs are an alternative to passports, so no reason to also have those along. The vax cards are no longer required, although we have electronic copies of ours on our phones, so we never worry about them in any case.

If you have valid passports, you won’t need birth certificates. All adults will need a valid government-issues photo ID to reboard the ship when it’s in a port. You can use a passport for that, or you can use a driver’s license.

I agree with Ralph&Pam that although vaccine cards are not currently needed, it would not hurt to have them accessible either physically or digitally just in case any ports start requiring them.
