Another gorgeous, beautiful day here! 83 degrees! It's so hard to sit in the office on days like this. Sitting at home now though with all my windows open and enjoying the breeze and listening the birds singing their songs.

It has been a tough week. After not getting my letters to the post office in time on Saturday, my weekend went down hill from there. Sunday morning at around 2 am, brought a phone call from a paramedic. They were in the process of taking my mother to the hospital. And it only got worse from there. She is in a hospital on one side of town and my father in the VA hospital 2 towns away....I have been shuttling back and forth between the two and everything else has been forgotten.

I have received both of my letters from Patsy and Cindy. Patsy's came in over a week ago and I forgot to post, thanks for the measuring spoon for the fridge--easier access than the ones in my cabinet. Cindy's came today---love the kitchen towel! The butterflies are pretty--with the weather her, I should be able to see the real thing soon. Your letters go to the post office tomorrow on my way to see my dad. My daughter has been with me through this all and tonight is the first time we have been home since the wee hours of Sunday. My hubby and sons --well, they are a lost cause when it comes to errands!

When it rains, it pours so I am ready for a drought!
Ladies, have a great St. Patrick's Day tomorrow and try to find me a four leaf clover.
