*Pen Pal Letter Swap-Round Two-August thru January* CLOSED

SIGN UPS ARE ROUND TWO ARE NOW CLOSED.

If I have any notifications or such, I will post here. The first pen pal letter is to be sent out by the second Sunday of the month-(as is all other monthly pen pal letters, and twists), so everyone will be receiving their pen pal information in July.

Once July comes around, if you will be away during the swap period, please let me know. If I am trying to get in contact with you, and I do not hear from you, you will be dropped from the swap. I am asking that everyone participating checks in on a weekly basis-(I find that checking in at the starting of the week Monday is the easiest for myself since it is one of the first things I do when starting a new week), but whatever works for you is fine.

Patsy, you know I'm a scatterbrain and just in case others out there are, too, can you let me know if these are correct?

We'll get our partners' info in July.

Our first letter should be mailed by the 2nd Sunday in July (the 11th).

This is all separate from the kids' pen pal swap.

Yes, the kids, and the adult pen pal letter swaps are completly seperate. You will be able to find different threads for each one.

The first month of the swap is actually in August, so you will need to send out your letters by August 15th. I will pass out pen pal info. in July so that everyone will be able to get a head start with their letters.

Is there any way I might be able to get the address the last day of june or the 1st day of july? We'll be going out of town on vacation for two weeks starting july 1st and I would love to be able to send one to my pen pal from the vacation spot

Just wanted to remind everyone that if you will be away during the swap period, or in July to please let me know with the dates you will be away.

This will help me to keep track of letters, questions that your pen pal may have..... remember there is the weekly check ins, and if I do not get a response from you, you will be removed from the swap.

Please be considerate, and post any letters/twists that you receive asap, and to let your pen pal, and myself know when you have sent out your items by posting on the proper thread of the month. This will be a BIG help to me if I have to refer back to dates..... remember that the mail by date for all months is the second Sunday of the month.

Names, info., ..... will be sent out sometime next month .

Hello everyone. Hope all of you are having a nice start for the month of July. I am excited for this month since next month will be the start of our new pen pal swap, but this month is when I will reveal partners, and the Topick of the Month, and the Twist of the Month.

Remember this is a 6 month committment, but I do need everyone to check in weekly. I will be checking the thread for check ins.... I do not want to drop anyone from the swap, so I will keep reminding everyone of this rule. I do not want to be chasing anyone down with continuous reminders of where are you, have you received or sent out your letter. I am sure we have a great group of pen pals, and that real life does get in the way. So if this does happen, please let me know asap so that we can figure something out, and also so that your pen pal knows of what is going on.

I did have someone who had to pull out of swap, so I am looking for one other pen pal. Or, if there are others out there that would like to join in, that can make this committment, you are welcome to join us as well. Please send me all the requested info. for the sign up. I will keep this open until I find one or more participants, and will then post here once that spot has been filled. If you are already signed up, and would like another pen pal, that is fine as well. Just send me a pm.
