It is now time to sign up for ROUND 3. This is a 6 month committment of letters sent from the month of January till June. All letters MUST be sent out, and reported of to me by the second Sunday of each month. There is also a MANDATORY/REQUIRED check in each week starting from Monday-(I sometimes open it early on Sunday, but will post that check ins for the week is now open). If you will be away during anytime of the swap, please let me know before you leave. If you have a trip planned, let me know ahead of time, and I will jot down your dates so that you will be exempt from checking in during those weeks. If I DO NOT hear from you or see that you had sent out your letter, you will be REMOVED from the swap. This is to be fair to your pen pal, others participating, and myself.
For each month, I have a Topic of the Month which is where I come up with a subject to write about, a questionaire to fill out....or something else for you, and your pen pal to write about. Also feel free to write about anything else to you pen pal. Each month, there is also a Twist of the Month which is optional...but just to let everyone know...mostly everyone has participated in this option...just in case you are wondering. The twist item is nothing big that should cost you alot to buy or alot for postage, unless you choose a gift of that nature. Sometimes you will make something, or buy a card, I have a bunch of ideas, so we will see what is the twist of the month for each month.
Each month, I will post a thread with the month in the title, so you will know where to post your comments, sent/received.....for that month. I also post hints, messages-(sometimes rather than sending a pm so that I know you are checking in since you read the message I had posted).... if I do not hear from you within a resonable time, you may be questioned or let go from the exchange-(that is why it is important to check in daily or a few times a week). Feel free to just pop in, and say hi....but don't forget to check in weekly.***NONSENDERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO JOIN IN. SO IF YOU HAD NOT HELD UP YOUR END OF YOUR COMMITMENT FOR ANY EXCHANGE OR PEN PAL LETTER SWAP, I am sorry but you may not join us. This is like any other exchange, in which you are making a committment that you had signed up for.
For the past two letter swaps, we had a good amount of participants so I ask that if you are considering joining us, that you hold your end of the deal, and follow the rules.
Sign ups will be till Friday November 19th, with partner info. given at the start of December. This will give me time to figure out pen pal arrangements, charting....and also you will have time to write out your letter, and get your twist ready if you wish to have an early start for January. If there are specific rules or details, I will list it for each month.
