pen ink in carpeting

My dog just chewed a pen and it leaked on the carpet.

I tryed Resolve but it didnt take out the bigger stains

Any suggestions?

There's a spray called Power Shot. I found it at Sam's Club, three cans for something like $11. I've also seen it in my local grocery store.

That stuff works GREAT.

I live by a product called Spot Shot. As of yet, it has gotten out every stain I've had to remove :::knocking on wood:::

I just posted this on the household tips thread. Any kind of hair spray will work (no matter how cheap). I would probably spray it good, blot it up with a wet cloth, and then keep doing it over as needed. It's worked for us in a several different situations.

Another vote for hairspray, the cheaper it is the better it will work. Test an inconspicuous spot first to make sure the carpet is color safe, then pour it on, let it sit for a minute and blot it up. Don't rub, and keep doing this until the ink is gone.
