I bought this stroller for our trip. Does anyone own this stroller and do you like it? Does it fold up small? The websight said it was 16 pounds I liked this feature. We are using the bus so we were looking ofr something compact.

We took this stroller on our trip in Sept 2006 for our then 5 and 4 year old children. LOVE IT! It folds VERY EASILY and is SO LIGHT!!!!! I could carry it in one hand as well as a backpack and several other items. It was easy to get on and off of the busses and monorail. I would HIGHLY recommend this stroller for you.

We have this stroller and used it on our trip to WDW when our DDs were 10 months. It is very lightweight and easy to carry. It doesn't fold like an umbrella stroller - it kind of folds "in half" (top folds into the bottom). It also has a carrying handle on the side, which adds to the ease in carrying.

We also took this on a trip to NYC when our DDs were 8 months - it worked great for the trip - we carried it on the subway (folded) and it handled the sidewalks great.

We loved this stroller when our DDs were smaller, but we have noticed that as they got older and bigger, it became harded to steer (but I think you run into this with almost any stroller).

HTHs!

I have the Aria single and love it. We've taken it to WDW 5 times with no problems.

Thanks we got a good price 170.00 shipped. It is the 2007 model but it looks the same as the 2008. Only 1/2 the price.

Well, I am in the minority, I guess. We have it and I HATE it. We got it when our kids were 5 months and it was fine for a few months, but by the time they were a bit under a year, it was horrible. I CANNOT push it with one hand (which is a really important feature for me.) And we had to replace the basket after less than a year of sporadic use when it started dragging with just a diaper and a travel container of wipes in it.

We still have it since it is the only stroller we own that fits in our nanny's Mini Cooper, but otherwise, we never use it.

I will agree that it folds up very compactly (hence the fitting into the Mini) and it lightweight, but the cons out weigh the pros.

We have it as well and have taken 2 trips with it our boys are 2.5 years apart (3 years & 7 months). We love/hate it, it's lightweight to carry around and reclines pretty well for a double but like the PP said the basket OMG what a pain we put holes in 2 different one's, some sort of design flaw b/c sunscreen and a baby blanket should never be so heavy as to drag it on the ground. I hate that it takes 2 hands to push always, i've never been able to manuver it w/1 hand even w/only the baby in it.

I'm not sure who posted but the 2008 model is actually VERY different than the 2007. The 2008 now has a 60/40 split seat instead of a 50/50 so the 60 side can now accomodate an infant carrier which is new to that version of the stroller where the single Aria always has had the ability to take the infant carrier. That said the 40 side is small, so small that i couldn't have imagined putting my 3 year old on that side so the baby could have the infant carrier side. It was so narrow he looked like a hot dog in a stroller seat bun.

i have the peg pergo twin stroller and really like it. been to disney, nyc, chicago and goin to disney again in sept.
lite weight and easy to handle

Seriously, any stroller, any! will make your trip better than no stroller, so relax, know you made the right decision and enjoy. Stroller rock at Disney, my girls are 8 and 6 and we still got a stroller, it was worth the extra money, I had a place to put my stuff and when they were beat they could sit. for the $$$$$ Disney cost, it was sooooooo worth it. enjoy!;)

We had it and HATED it. I would have rather had them walk....it was the worst stroller we've ever had. It was HARD to push, felt like the wheels were going to break. It got stuck on the smoothest pavement and you couldn't lean it back to get on sidewalks..etc. We got a good deal on it, as it was a catalog return to Target, but we sold it after using it twice. We really liked the Baby Planet twin though...even though that center column that the 'steering wheel' is on needs some work by the engineers. It got really flimsy after a week at Disney and finally the steering wheel broke off. But, the company was GREAT about sending out another stroller....etc, and I really think we got a one with a weak spot in it. The stroller was light, pushed smoothly and held a 3 year old and a 4 year old without any 'bogged' down feeling on the tires. We're holding out for the Baby Jogger City Mini Double now though....the bigger Baby Joggers are NICE, but the one with smaller wheels will be easier to tote around I think. Oh and the Baby Planet folds up umbrella style.

I hate to even reply since you've already ordered it, but this is the worst stroller we've owned. :(

It's so hard to maneuver. That is my number one gripe and it is such a hassle at places like Disney.

I replaced it with the Maclaren Twin Triumph and this stroller is so much better. I can push my four year old twins around corners with one hand. I know that might sound silly, but you'll fully understand once you use the Aria for awhile.

Sorry to also tell you that the only double stroller that seems to work in Disney is a double jogger. Yes it is big and a pain on the buses however when your in the parks it is so easy to push. I have 3 kids and I have used the aria twin hard to push and I also have a double macalren that we always bring and my husband has informed me not this time and he made me order a double jogger.

I'm not sure about the Peg Pergo Aria (I do have both a single and a double, but they're still in the box), but I have to agree that the BEST stroller we have ever used at WDW is our double jogger. It's not as easy on transportation as a smaller stroller, but it's way nicer in the parks and not as much work as many people on here make them sound to be--especially when most of them haven't actually ever done it; it's what they imagine it to be. And really, how often are you on the bus during your vacation compared to everywhere else?

We've had a single Aria since 2001 (dd is turning 7yo this summer) and have taken it to WDW four times as well as two cruises and a trip to Nashville. We are on child #2 (ds just turned 2yo) and it is still going strong.

I love our Aria. We have a Peg Milano as well...but I prefer the Aria once they are past the newborn stage!

i had an aria twin and hated it. it was impossible to steer, the basket broke, other pieces fell off (the folding mechanism, the piece that locks the trays in place), and the darn thing actually had a WHEEL fall off while i was pushing it. worst money i have ever spent. seriously, i warn everyone i know to stay away from that stroller. it is a worthless piece of junk. i couldnt even bring myself to sell it because i would feel horrible knowing someone else spent money on it. so i gave it to my ex-husband.

I'm also a mama to fraternal twin boys, now 4.5.

I had a Twin Aria when my boys were small - got it around 7 months and sold it around 18 months. The major thing it has going for it is the weight. Other double umbrella stollers fold smaller, like the Combi or Maclaren. The basket is all but useless.

Peg calls this a feature, but I call it a fatal flaw the 5pt harness is not fully anchored to the back of the seat! It's a little tab into a loop, they call it a "floating harness". To me, it meant the kids weren't really held back against the seat and they could reach pretty far out to grab stuff in stores.

I saw the new model with the 60/40 split. That effectively renders this stroller useless for those of us with two children who happen to have the exact same birthday. I realize we're a minority, but there are still a lot of us!
