PeepsII-The Hot, Sweaty Asian Strikes Back. Feb 2010. 12/2-Part 2 has begun.

You definitely need to give it a shot! It’s fun and easy! You can always go out and spend lots of $$ on fancy cameras and equipment and they will do a great job. OR you can do what I did and use a regular digital point and shoot camera and piece of free software.

First, the shoot. You need to take floor to ceiling photos for the entire area you wish to include. (And when I say floor to ceiling I mean LITERALLY floor to ceiling.) The more pics the better.

One you have them loaded on your hard drive, download and install the FREE Windows Live Photo Gallery. (Click the title to go to the download site.)

Next, path to the folder where your photos are stored using the file explorer on the left.

Highlight all of the photos you want to include in your panoramic. (Hold down CTRL and click each one individually or if they are all together, click the first one, hold down shift, then click the last one.)

Right click on any of the selected photos, move your cursor to “Create Panoramic Photo” and click the mouse.

It will take several minutes to complete, then popup a box asking you name the file.

Once it is name, you’ll get another progress bar for a couple of minutes, then the photo will appear in same folder as the pictures you used to create the
panoramic.

At this point it will be a little weird looking.

We still need to crop it. In most cases, the image will be too big to edit using Windows Live Photo. I use MS Office Photo Manger and it works great. BUT, if you don’t have that program installed, you can use another free program called Picasa to get er done.

Open Picasa, click on File, Add File to Picasa. Path to your new panoramic and it will show up on the Picasa file viewer.

Double click the picture to open it.

On the left Click the Tab that says Basic Fixes. Click on Crop (Top left option).

Click anywhere on the photo and hold down the mouse button. Drag your mouse to draw a box

Once it is drawn, click on any line and hold the mouse button to drag that line in or out. Anything outside of the box will disappear when you finish the crop. Once you have it set like you like it, click on apply.

Once it is done, save the file and you’re finished.

To make a poster, go to walmart.com. Click on Photos. Create an album and upload your pics. Under projects select Poster, Collage Poster. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Done

Can you just come out and show me how it's done. Unfortunately, I'm a visual learner.:rolleyes1;)

Universal Resource Locator. (It's how you dot com somebody!) :thumbsup2

Thanks to you all for your kind words. Now you're making me mist up.:grouphug:

I knew it was something like that. No not really..... but I gotta pretend I know right?

Wow! What an inspirational day. I'm sorry I missed out on the conversation.

Jordan - God is so good to see that you received that gift just at the time when you needed it most. As Wendy said, God is Good - All the time - love that song! :thumbsup2

Great Biscuit! - thanks for listening to the Lord, and that's a great poster!

I know that the big boss is good. so good. he knows what we need before we do!

you two crack me up.

I'll make a lame attempt at laymans terms for Liesa as I KNOW it's bugging her. Not that I really know the real terms, ask GB or Underdog (love that...GERD...:lmao:)

Thanks, you're my heroine!! I sorta, in a very much kinda sorta way, knew what you are talking about. The only thing is that I couldn't seem to find where the dupie is... I'll go check again, and if I it's super obvious, I'll play around, but honestly it scares me! I didn't make those really cool and snazzy linky picture thingys; I wouldn't be able to figure out how to restore them again!! :scared1:

Someone accused us of being long lost twins; I think they may have been right...

When you put soemthing in a post, or your siggie that requires some kind of formatting or linking you "tell" it to do so with cues like "image","url", "http", "bold", "italic", "purple" and the like.

To do so its kind of like a shorthand code, telling it when to start whatever it is you want it to do, and then stop. So if I want something BOLD

I have to start it with

and end it with the same thing only you add a backslash (or is that a hack...help me out guys!) before the "B"

one of these

/

I can't actually type it or it will bold this whole amount of text!

At any rate, that extra [/url] that Liesa has is just that, extra. It doesn't have a start point to match to. Most likely if you look at your siggie you've got 2 of them next to each other OR the start point is missing a bracket. Like this

[url

see..no bracket on the end. Without that, the end point can't find the start.

Not sure if that helps or if that makes it worse.

The above is what you wrote....

This is what my brain hears:

You two crack me up...oh oh...computer stuff coming up.....blah, blah, blah...more computer stuff......my head hurts...computer stuff...tell her to stop...computer stuf.....

makes it worse....

Copy everything in your siggie onto a word doc, then you won't lose what you have, you can always just put it back.

Preview any changes you make. If it makes it worse just exit out, don't save the changes and no harm no foul.

If you can't find a dup then it's more likely that you are missing a bracket on the front end somewhere which is a pita to find.

I am rolling!!!!! You are too funny!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

You know - the internet can have some bad things on it - but on the different message boards I have been on over the years I have witnessed some beautiful things too. GB has just added to the beautiful! How wonderful!

OK I just caught up (about 10 pages worth! :faint:) and just wanted to pop in and say hello to everyone!

Biscuit that poster is BEAUTIFUL! :thumbsup2 Yay for presents for Jordy! Now I want to send him something! LOL You've also inspired me to try to create something like that for my house....now if I could just get past all the junk and actually FIND the walls :sad2:

Cherie I was sitting at here at work cracking up at your list of church bulletins. Too funny...it reminded me of the segment that Jay Leno does with funny headlines and such. And I love those emails that go around with billboards that have misprints, or images that no one really thought out before putting it up for all to see....much like these:

cinema-board-fail.jpg

fail-owned-guest-speaker-billboard-.jpg

Not as good as yours...but hopefully someone will find them as humerous as I did

Jordy - good luck on your job situation. Think of it this way - It sounds like a lot of work and you may have to make sacrifices, but the job would not have been presented to you if no one thought you could handle it. ;) It bites the big one to think that you may have to postpone your trip, but WDW will always be there and a new job could just be a path to more Disney Dollars :)

Hugs!

Those last two are as hilarious as the other ones posted! I love those signs - always give me a good laugh just when I seem to need one. :goodvibes

Thanks!

Hope it's a great day for all.:grouphug:

I know, it's like the adults on the Charlie Brown cartoons, wah, wah wah wah, wah, wah.
Sadly I don't get it. I'm just not blessed with those genes, but that's OK Jordan (do people call you Jordy? Every time I type your name I want to put your name as Jordy, of course I would never do this since it's not your name, weird) we're blessed with other talents, and I'm OK with that. :)

What the heck was I thinking, I should have known it would be this easy. LOL!

Funny you say that because we always called him Jordie growing up... :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Although to me, he's always Jordie (with an "ie") but I know lots refer to him as Jordy (he himself will do this too...).

So I'm sure he'd be A-OK with being called Jordy, Jordie, etc. He's been called much worse. :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

So, speaking of bloopers... on the DCL website, if you go to the Disney Dream virtual tour, on deck 13, if you hover over "Currents" (the outlook bar), the description that comes up says "an outdoor bar, offering plenty of stool..." :crazy2:

hee hee hee hee :-) not very appetizing... ha ha ha ha ha ha.

(ok, actually in re-reading it, the whole sentence reads: "plenty of stool, table and lounge seating..." so I guess grammatically the sentence makes sense, but maybe stool shouldn't have been first in the list...)

:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I prefer my bar to be stool free!

This is definitely the right thread to report that on, given all of the outhouse humor around here lately.

I was actually DOUBLY appropriate, since I incorporated bathroom humor with bloopers! Now I just have to figure out how to get a peep and a tongue in there and we're set.

Ha ha ha. :lmao:

I thought an"url" was an English royalty!!!Then I came to America and found out it was what you do after a night at the bar with or without "stool":rotfl2:
