I'll be in China in Feb. I'm visiting friends who are working there.......

My next trip was to be in June, but it looks like it'll be 2010 before I go again. Probably Feb or June 2010.....

Oh that's right, I believe you told me that. China is a HUGE trip!!
Well, perhaps we will catch up with you in 2010. We are still doing the cruise in June 09 but I cancelled the land portion and scheduled this last Feb trip instead.

yes, we're going again. but you have to understand my reasoning....

our april/may trip was our "real" vacation.

september with erica was truly a bonus trip. the only thing i had to pay for was a 1-day park ticket (to qualify for free dining) and half the hotel. i had an AP at the time, so i couldn't pass up that opportunity!

then this trip is mainly to see the christmas decorations. we're only gonna be there 4 days. and we're staying off property in a condo to save money. but you'll read more about the details in my pre-TR.

and yes, you do have to catch up. we had a tribute to you on our first day at DHS!

It is, but I'm mainly going to visit my friends who are working there and a bit homesick. I don't know how much sightseeing I'm going to be doing. It's really cold in Beijing.......lots of Peeps though...

I would LOVE to see you guys again.....I'll keep you in the loop as far as 2010 goes

nope. i'm looking forward to it! it's gonna be so awesome! the only thing i'm freaking out about is what to pack. the weather is so unpredictable in florida in the winter.

Hmmm....i usually purposely pack light. I "forget" to pack a sweatshirt or jacket....that way I "have" to buy one at WDW.....

Chapter 76. Saturday, February 10th. Day 10. Part 10. Oh yeah the Kim in France part....

So....we got to France and checked in and were seated pretty quickly. I like sitting in the glass area near the walkway, but we were seated in the back. No worries. I like the ambience of the restaurant. Our waiter was Oliver. He was not very attentive at first and not very friendly. You know what we didn't really care. We kind of chalked it up to Oliver being French and having a distaste for Americans. Kim started flirting a bit and he started warming up a bit...

Here we are:

We ordered a mushroom pizza as an appetizer. It was delicious.

I had the filet and I think Kim had some sort of meat....short rib?

We finished our meals. During our meal, we struck up a conversation with the couple sitting next to us. I should say I struck up a conversation with the couple next to us. They were staying at WDW just for a few days. They had gone on a cruise (non disney...the horror.. ) and were spending a few days at WDW before heading home to Mass.

Kim was definitely liking Oliver so we had him take a picture of us and then I took a pic with Kim and him...or was it vice versa?

I always like Chefs de France. It's never spectacular, but always good.

After our meal was over we went back to the hotel....

Wow! Two updates! It's great to see you back. We finally made it to the American pavillion last month, but missed the Voices of Liberty, which I really wanted to see. We did manage to hit lots of other shows, entertainment in the other countries--it is just so dang hard to catch everything without backtracking!

A trip to China sounds very exciting! My friend's daughter is going this spring with her choral group in high school, no parents allowed! That would scare me to death not being able to chaperone that far away! Just a wee bit overprotective here...
