Chapter 73. Saturday, February 9th. Day 10. Part 7. Ghosts, Boats and a runaway train...with a little Winkers thrown in.

First I have to apologize for my absence. Since Church camp, I've been super busy. Finishing up 13 days in a row before I go on a short road trip to AZ. I'm also on FB now and have been connecting with all the kids from camp as well as some old college friends that I had lost contact with.....

I never thought I'd be one of those people who takes a year to finish their TR, but it looks like I may come in under the wire.....

Never fear, I'm back. It looks like people have gone and come back from their WDW vacations and are well into their own TRs now. I've got some major catching up to do over the next few weeks. My September looks even crazier as the Senior Pastor will be out on vacation for 3 weeks leaving me to do alot of the work....I thought this was only a part-time job? Anywho.....

on with the show......

So when I last left you we had seen an Asian pirate, had an unfortunate encounter with the Adventureland restroom and got Kim her Dole Whip. We were on our way back to the Haunted Mansion and realized that the parade had just gone through and the crowds were nuts.

I told Kim to hang on......as an ex-CM for Disneyland, I had expert crowd maneuvering skills and we were able to get to the line for the Haunted Mansion before most of the rest of the crowds got there. To the old lady I knocked into the planter...I sincerely apologize.

the line was still fairly long, but moved quickly. I was able to get this shot off before we entered the stretchy rooms (not to be confused with stretchy shorts ):

We enjoyed the attraction and I enjoyed the upgrades to the rides. I think Flat Winkers was a bit strung out:

We then took a ride on the Steamboat...what's it called at WDW?

During the ride we found this room with some nice looking seats. Who am I to pass up an opportunity to sit down?

After our peaceful (and truthfully rather boring) ride, we walked over to Big Thunder to use our FPs:

I always dig pictures taken on rides so I thought I'd try it as well:

After our ride, we decided to head out as we had ADRs at Chefs de France. On our way back through Adventureland we were attacked by birds:

They would attack just about anyone. I felt like Tippi Hedren:

We made the bus with no wait and we were off...back to the BCV:

I thought of you while on vacation and wondered what flush rating you would give all the bathrooms.

great picture! I hadn't thought of taking a picture of myself on a ride............I'd be worried I'd drop the camera and the person behind me would end up with a concussion from a flying camera......

that's the bathroom that I accidently filmed while using it on meds!.......maybe I should clarify, I used the women's restroom next to that one. And as you can see from the video, it was very clean!

Great installment, I hadn't noticed that at HM, I will have to pay more attention next time. Love the pictures of Kim and you on the rides and on the bus. Thank goodness you came back to us!

I saw some birds swoop down at a guy carring a tray full of fries in Epcot .....if it had been myself carring those they would have all been straight up in the air and then on the ground

hopefully before december....

I have faith you will be done before the first of the year.....how many more days??
