Did you also tell your DD that I'm atypical as far as PEEPS go and I am dumb as a doornail when it comes to math.....

We Peeps just know.....it's genetic.
:lmao: I will pass that along to DD.

I haven't seen the light of day in weeks. The Senior Pastor has me locked in the bowels of the church.....

hmmmm... sounds like the opening line of a very dark novel......:scared1:

The only thing I want at my wedding is a bride....:rolleyes1

Someone is going to have to bribe me to get married. I love being single a little too much.:rotfl2:

DH and I were "team couples" for marriage preparation classes at our church for 15 years...
It's amazing how many people DO get married because, "oh well, I guess I better, everybody else around me is..."
Good for you that you know it's ok to be single! Wait for "THE RIGHT ONE"! ;)

oooo... and "Open Bar" is a must here in the NY/Tri-State Area. :rotfl:

As for those preliminary plans, do you REALLY get THAT detailed?! Yikes! And DH thinks, I'm organized. No way, looking at that!!!! :lmao:

Jordan, your sweaty glow is blinding me. Must..put..on..eye protection! :cool1:

In honor of you, a special pic.

Yay!!! You started planning for next year :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

I love your Crackberry!!! It's great. I have a crackberry pearl.

Okay, it's not a binder pic, but it was a good substitute to see the proposed June draft and the new Blackberry (very cool color, by the way)!

I actually got that color by mistake. I ordered it online and just saw Blackberry Curve and pushed the order button......:)

OK I have been SOOOOOOOOOOO out of the loop, but another trip, YEA!

If you want, give me the dimentions and I will hook you up with a COOL, scraped out binder cover.;)

and what is this is hear your coming to DC? You know I just live 25 min outside of the city! We HAVE to meet up for lunch or a drink or just a really fun peep picture!

I'll take any binder cover....;)

I think it'll be next spring if all goes as planned. About 12 of us from college get together once a year. 2 of the women live in the DC area and have finally convinced us to come out there. My friend lives in Potomac, MD and has a huge mansion so we'll all be able to crash there...hopefully.

I would be up for meeting for sure.

Ooh, a new trip!

I'm not quite excited about it yet as I haven't firmed up dates and put a deposit down. Once I do that, it'll be full steam ahead.

YAY!!!! The official trip announcement. :cool1: We are looking forward to meeting up with you again. I just can't believe it's almost a year away!! who else is thinking of going the same time as us??

I got my binder yesterday but do not have pretty stuff on the cover yet. It's black this time to go with the cruise ship and I will probably work some red in there so that it's sort of Mickey-ish and Ship-ish. :lmao:

Oh come to Ip-Dip.

Room is $140 per person

Tix - Angela said she has some for you.

Plane - book now before expensive. (probably too late) :sad2:

eat oop and not so much. :rotfl2: That is what I am doing.

you know you want to.

We'll see. It'll be a stretch for sure.

So what did they have? So excited for you only 2.5 weeks left.

My cousin Corrie had a boy. I don't know what her other friend had...

I can't wait to see what is put in this binder. I hear so much about binders on the DIS and I'm just learning. Here's what I learned to far

1. Book trip dates
2. Buy binder
3. itinerary
4. change itinerary
5. see #4
6. see #5

Can't wait to see how a pro plans a Disney trip. I have one coming up next year so I want to write pointers down.

Binders come in handy mostly to store any WDW related info in one place. I like storing confirmation info in there for air and hotel..just in case.

Jordan, that is some detailed planning. I have a binder every year, and thought I was organized! So far for this trip, I only have three pieces of paper from AAA and my hand-penciled spreadsheet with ADRs and park days.
I did plan our best days from touring plans. And I only called wdwdine 6 times yesterday to finish adrs.

We are 85 days out!!!:cool1: :headache: Maybe I'm just loosening up.

I usually just use the way too detailed itinerary as a guideline. I certainly don't do attractions in the exact order that I wrote them (not all the time anyway). I write so many drafts that I pretty much remember stuff by memory....

:lmao: I will pass that along to DD.

The ones in her class are probably of the typical variety...;)

I may never get married, but I am more open to it than I was a year ago.

I AM that detailed, but I use the attractions/wait times more as a guideline. I find if the group is larger you have to cut down the number of attractions you can get to...traveling from one place to another just take alot longer....

It's a great phone/PDA...the best thing is getting and responding to email.....

FIVE drafts of your itinerary already!

I know. I forgot that I'm doing a 6 month class that meets only on Mondays and I can only miss 2. So I had to change stuff around so I would only miss one Monday because of vacation.

What color were you wanting to get?

Silver or as they call it Titanium.

YAY!!!! The official trip announcement. :cool1: We are looking forward to meeting up with you again. I just can't believe it's almost a year away!! who else is thinking of going the same time as us??

I can't believe it's already less than a year away....and I'm so busy I'm sure time will fly by.

I'm going to try and be more creative with the Binder cover this time. I will probably make Binders for the others going as no one else that may be going has ever been before.

Oh, Disney Virgins??? :stir:

The plot thickens...

I don't know why I do this to myself. Going with people that haven't never been before sometimes can be work. Not that I really mind, but you do want to make sure they have a good time and you want to make sure they avoid rookie mistakes (although I made a few rookie mistakes this last trip). Going with vets makes life easier and you don't feel like you need to go at a fast pace.....

You'll have to schedule quite a few planning sessions beforehand with flip charts and diagrams! ;)

I think rookie mistakes, even for veterans, are unavoidable! I found that we made quite a few this last trip, and it was at least my 13th or 14th trip to the World!

Are you still planning on arriving before everyone else or staying after they leave?

Those pictures are just precious....

:rotfl: Oh my gosh, she is too cute! My parents gave me a cookie monster cake for one of my first birthdays and I ended up looking like him when I was done with my cake!
My favorite baby photo of myself is of me, standing up in my highchair, probably around 18 months old or so, and COVERED in 'bas-getti" sauce. I'm looking at the camera like, What? Those messy food photos are the best!
Thanks for sharing!

Those are great. She is a beautiful baby girl.

Those pictures are great!!!!!

I think the last time I saw Grace...she was asleep.:sad1:

How's everything?

Oh my goodness! That is a great picture!

Coteau chick, such CUTE pictures!!! DD wouldn't touch her b-day cake as a baby, but we made her a jello mold, too, and she had that from head to toe!! She still loves jello!

Thanks for all the compliments on the pictures. We really had fun watching her play in her cake. It took nine years for me to get pregnant for her due to infertility issues. We are all spoiling her rotten. She is a perfect example of never giving up on your dream. I had two kids but I never felt like my family was complete. I wanted another baby and Grace was a dream in my heart for nine years. I will never forget ther moment I found out I was pregnant. It was like that song " Laughed Until We Cried" I was laughing and crying at the same time. I kept saying "nine years". This last year has been a dream come true for me. If I rambled on I am sorry. I just still can't believe my baby is here. Thanks again for all the compliments

Jordan, I think we'll be in the same boat. Natasha hasn't been since she was 8 :scared1: She started telling my brother about attractions she wants to visit next year. My brother had to inform her that a couple no longer exist :lmao:

Also, I need to pick your brain a bit. We're trying to decide on a resort and have been considering Beach Club and Boardwalk Villas. My brother feels the need to be close to a sports bar, so that's factoring in. I know you are the Beach Club expert, so I want to ask you. I'll PM you :thumbsup2

Jordan, even though I am new to the boards, I have really enjoyed reading your reports. I have lol'd :rotfl2: numerous times at work and my coworkers think I am nuts. I tell them, "it's just a hot, sweaty Asian and his peeps." My DW and I are planning be in the world that week of June as well... Maybe we will run into each other? :thumbsup2

This could end up being a pretty neat DIS Meet! We will be there most likely the last week of June, so maybe we'll see you! :cool1:

Jackie,

I know alot of people have meetings to discuss the trip. Maybe I'll do that so we can all get on the same page.:rolleyes1

I am planning on staying 5 nights AFTER the trip with everyone else. It'll take me 2 days to recover and then I can enjoy some relaxing days by the pool or TL....

I got a bit choked up

Beach Club is still close to the ESPN Club. Not a whole lot farther than the BWV.

Ask away......

WELCOME!!!!!!

My tentative dates are June 16th-28th. It may move one or two days like the 18th-30th, but not too much later as I don't want to hit the 4th of July crowds....

I love your username and like snack reference. I have a story coming up later in the TR.....
