YAY! So glad you're back and great updates, the character pics are always adorable and Stormalong Bay looks very cool!

Hijacking thread for a bit but thought I'd throw out some kid pix for your amusement. Here are some of the tan kids from Maui...

At the famous Banyan Tree in Lahaina:

Happy DISing!

Wendy, your kids are gorgeous! They should be child models! And they're such good photograph-posers too! I'm telling you, it could be lucrative for you! :) Not that I think your kids are only good for money-making! :rotfl: They seem really sweet!

Yes, but if only I could get them both looking good at the same time... sigh. It's always one or the other who is behaving... but hardly ever at the same time.

I've always thought about the whole modeling thing but 1) that would take me staying at home (being available to cart them from place to place) and 2) that would involve them having to actually listen to the person directing the shoot. Which is a challenge in and of itself. Maybe Uncle Jordie can be their agent and earn his 10% by chauffering them around. Ha ha ha. :rotfl:

But yes, I thought it would be nice for them to earn their keep around our house... ha ha ha.

Wendy, what great pics of Dylan and Erin -- they already look so much older than the Feb. pics! How is that possible??? Looks like you are having a fabulous time in Hawaii!!!

Great pix Wendy!! DD sooooowants to go to Hawaii. You will have to give me tips on which Island and what time of year is best and why!
Jordan Looking for another update .. till tomorrow Night Peeps!!

The main islands have their different "feels"... Oahu is the most developed and metropolitan. Bigger cities, much more modern, the most populated island. My family mostly lives here - it has the popular tourist spots (Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head volcano, etc.) but also boasts a lot of people (but also lots to do). Maui used to be the slow paced island but it's becoming more developed as well. So it's a nice mix of "island life" as well as having enough modern conveniences so that you have stuff to do. Also has Haleakala, a volcano... Kauai is now the slower paced island... has Princeville, famous for golf courses and the getaway for celebrities... good for hiking and getting back to nature... much more slow paced. The "big island" - Hawaii - famous for some major volcano craters and lava flows... slow paced as well... the largest island of them all. Then you have the smaller islands - Molokai, Lanai, etc. but mostly people go to the four major ones.

So SO cute Wendy

Only one month to go for you Mama......decided upon any names yet??? :goodvibes

No names decided yet... thinking maybe Ashlyn, Alison, Kathryn... DH likes Ashlyn... so then thinking of middle names... maybe Ashlyn Kate... I sort of like Caitlin Alexis... but who knows... maybe we'll just go with "Baby Number Three". Yup - one more month... can't wait.

Oh believe me, spend long enough with them and you'll have no problem disciplining them. Ha. "Look" is the key word in that last statement...

Generally speaking, they are very good overall. But they can have their moments, believe me. But it's hard to stay mad at them for too long. We bought Erin a snorkel set for her trip to Kauai on Friday and Dylan wanted to try it on, so he put on the mask, breathing tube and fins all by himself and was waddling around the house. It was so cute.

We too can't decide on names so my mom just decided she is calling him "BB" for now...which stands for baby boy.

Such cute kids, Wendy! Dylan, especially, looks older in these pictures.

Everybody have a great July 4th! We're outta here till Sunday!
