I kinda wish the Cards put up a little more of a fight. Anyway the Sox needed to get a 86 year old monkey off there backs, and it would have been the same for most any other team if it makes you feel any better.

I am big enough to admit that I cried like a baby when they won. My 5 year-old DD thought something was wrong. (Yes, I did get her up to watch Red Sox history being made, just like my dad got me up in '86, although that didn't go so well.)

Did they just do the parade or anything else? Any rides? I just saw the interview on TV with the two of them with Mickey ears on and dark sunglasses. Looks like they were having a great time and looking foward to coming back for the big parade in Boston.
