Pedometer question

I have a dumb question. I got a pedometer and if I attach it to my right pocket it only counts the steps that I take with my right foot. I'm trying to do the 10,000 steps a day thing. Do I double that number? Does my left foot not count?

Very good question. I have always had problems with pedometers. They are really unreliable. I just ordered an Omron Deluxe pedometer. It actually lets you put it in your pocket and will still count your steps. I can't wait till it comes in. I hope it's more reliable than the others.
