Pedicabs are uninformed

If that is their argument, then it would follow that right-of-way rules don't apply either. Next time tell 'em to hug a root and go around.

Considering the price guests are paying to stay, perhaps Loews should be getting a few concerned emails as well

I'm new to this group thing but I'm very put off by some of you guys. This is absolutely ridiculous. I can't believe that this is even a topic. Scheming against the Pedi cab drivers who are just probably trying to pay for school is very juvenile. Not everyone is born wealthy. I walked every day when I was at PBH and when I heard a bell ring I took two easy steps to get out of their way. It sickens me to see people this in-humane. If you’re going to complain, complain to the hotel. Is it really worth it to be mean to someone? Give me a break!

i'm game, let's do !!

exactly, i wouldn't think these kids on their bikes would threaten a few adults so much that they would sit online all day talking about it. And i'm sure they wouldn't want your money if acting like this, but would be more than happy to give you a ride, if that gets you off the paths.

Obviously, you're both new and don't appreciate our sense of humor. That's fine. I don't care if you do or don't.

For the record, I wasn't born wealthy either since that seems to matter to you.

All I keep saying, which rockinyourstereo doesn't seem to want to believe, is that the paths are not wide enough for the rickshaws and those who enjoy the exercise and would rather walk. If the paths were wider or if the rickshaws had their own paths (AND if we didn't get hassled so much by them), I would not give two flips they were there. Until such time as the paths can be widened, the rickshaw people remain an unwelcomed afterthought, IMHO.

No offense, but you don't seem like a person that cares about others. People need to realize that this world doesn't revolve around themselves. Believe it or not, other people live in this world too. I don't buy that you guys are just trying to be funny. Oh, by the way, city walk and Lowes hotel are under Universal private property. The only rules they have to follow are Universal rules. The same with Disney. That's why these parks risk liability and the county doesn't, and why the parks have to pay law enforcement to work. Look it up. Stop trying to act like a lawyer. I'm done with this ridiculous discussion.

You're right. You know ALL about me from your 3 1/2 seconds on these boards, and, clearly, I care about no one but myself. Thanks for setting me straight.

okay, so do i ride this thing after a day and my feet are killing me or not???
homies from our thread, please advise.....

penny, this is one of, i think, 3 threads about the rickshaws.
someone that posted here that feel opposite of mf, jodie and myself started another thread for their viewpoint..

homie, i am not using the pedicab.

i read on another one of the pedi threads that one of the rickshaw drivers was pushy until he received a $15 tip from 4 adults. i don't remember the details on it though.
and read another post of the standard tip to give based on the location where the person started the ride. it was high.

OOOH - got a little heated in here....Yikes. Apparently, sarcasm isn't taken well by all people. I love the people on this thread - you all talk my language!

When did the Rickshaw people come to the park? I don't remember them being there last April? Maybe I wasn't paying attention. That being said, I love the walk, even after a long day at the parks and citywalk. It's very pretty, and really, when you think about it, the hotels are SO close - compare the distance in WDW. Anyways, I'm with you homies....No rickshaw rides for this girl....

The first time I noticed them was the last week of May 2006. So maybe they arrived between April and May?
