All DH wants for his 50th birthday is to play Pebble Beach. His brother has agreed to go with him so he'll have someone to golf with.
Has anyone played there? I believe you need to stay at their hotel to play and need to book way in advance. DH's 50th is in January 2010, so I hope I'm allowing enough time! He'd like to play the 3 main courses - it looks like there's a 3-night stay with 1 round of golf (at each of the 3 courses) for 2 golfers - this package costs over $4000! Any advice? Is there a best time to go? (weather, rates, etc.)
