Pearl - Website not working unable to early book Fall 2024 - today June 19

This is so strange. Monday I could log in and the website knew I was Pearl. But my husband was still platinum, my daughter was still gold, and my son-in-law was still gold. We have a cruise coming up in a couple of weeks. On the checkin page there’s a section called click to link all other travelers to you (something like that). Never paid any attention to it. But I clicked and I had to click everyone in the room to the drop down friends and family. I did this for my online checkin page and for both my daughters reservation and my son-in-law’s reservation and didn’t think anything of it. The next day everyone’s level was correct when I logged in for each and everyone’s past cruises show on everyone’s account Now. I don’t know if it was some sort of link or update, but just wanted to share that weird turn of events.

I know this may be nothing, but it sure was coincidental.

Resurrecting this thread because I had a similar issue today as a Silver trying to book one of the new early 2025 itineraries.

In my case, based on the convo I had with the CM on the phone who helped me book, it's possible the cruises still showed as "Coming Soon" because while I'd updated all my Disney account with my new last name, new address, etc., my Castaway Club info on Disney's backend was still showing under my maiden name and old address, as that's what I last sailed under. So the site possibly thought I was a fake CC member despite showing Silver to me, lol.

Anyway, if anyone else changed their name information on the Disney site(s), it might be worth it to call and check if that got updated on the backend, too.

I’m also not able to get past the coming soon and I haven’t updated my Disney account recently. My TA is booking the cruise I want though. This was more just me wanting to see availability

I'm still not able to see availability, either. My booking is correctly connected to My Disney Cruise and theoretically I would be able to look at availability on this particular sailing through Modify Reservation and Change Stateroom, but I'm paranoid that would mess something up and I wouldn't be able to fix it.

I guess the widespread Disney site problems remain in full effect. :/ Hope all goes well with your TA's booking!

I had a similar issue for both the initial Treasure bookings and the new spring itineraries this week. I called in and found out that I had some other people associated with my email address on my Disney account who haven't cruised before, so the system was using the lowest Castaway Club level when I tried to do early booking. They were able to remove all the other people from my email and a day later it was fixed.

I started this thread in July and both mine and my wife's still doesn't work. I've called tech support and troubleshooted 5 times over 2 years and each time they say they've created a ticket to escalate and nothing ever happens after that.

I emailed guest services 32 days ago explaining the steps I've already taken and how nothing ever happens and asking for it to be escalated which they said it would be. Yet still has not been fixed and we again cannot early book on this current release.

Not having the website access for early booking is a huge disadvantage. We need the website access to browse multiple sailings, cabins, etc all things that would take hours to have a rep do over the phone for you in addition to hold times.

Sorry to hear you are still having problems.

Back in June I posted I was having similar problems. Since I was not needing to book anything, and I use a travel agent I thought I would wait till all of the Cast Away Club levels had the opportunity to book.

Once I had waited I called the Cruise Line. They connected me to Tech support. I told them what was going on and what I had tried to fix it my self.
They put in a ticket and I was told it could take a couple of days. For me it was fixed by the end of the day.

As a side note my wife and I have done all out Disney cruises together. We are Platinum.
Her account has been correct from the beginning. When I asked about this I was told even tho you have done all your cruises together you each have a separate account with a different Cast Away Club number.

This would be our 4th cruise and neither DH's account or my account allow us to book through the website. I'd rather tell our TA which ship which date which room exactly after I've already done all the price comparisons myself. So frustrating.

Ugh, I'm sorry so many people continue to have problems.

I've also discovered that in my reservation, "my" phone number is the phone number of my friend who served as the Primary Guest on the previous cruises I went on. The rep I booked with said "is this a good number to reach you?" and I thought she meant the number I'd called from. Or maybe she did but failed to get it the reservation/my CC account updated with my actual number. :/

My attempts to fix it myself aren't saving so I guess I'm in for another phone call. When I do that maybe I'll ask if I somehow have any extra profiles associated with my info and get that cleared out if so.

This will be my DH's and kiddo's first time with DCL so as long as we're sailing together I guess I may be in for many future problems as my CC status increases ahead of theirs.

I initially couldn't book as Silver this morning either, but was able to finally book my cruise after a couple minutes. Very frustrating.

you could? Did you have to take any specific steps?
I'm going nutso because my account wont even recognize or allow me to link my CC#. DH at least says he's silver but the website still says "coming soon" on his account too.

I just did the usual stuff — log back in and new browser. I double-checked my profile to make sure that my CC status was correct (which it was) and I could book it right after I did that. So I don’t think I did anything special; it was just weird that I couldn’t book when I first logged in.

Sorry that you are having to deal with this!

May I ask, for those of you who have had this issue for a long while, have you still been able to book cruise activities early? Or has that not been working, either? (I have over a year before I’d theoretically even be able to book the activities, but I’d like to be prepared with backup plans if I can’t get this sorted.)

Thanks for any info, and sorry again to hear these issues are so widespread.

I haven't tried.

I have the early booking issue but does not effect booking cruise activities on existing reservations

Thank you! I was hoping that was the case because my reservation includes all the correct early booking dates for activities and check-in.

Then you should be okay. We had issues one time but we also hadn't noticed beforehand we'd had the incorrect dates.

I finally got our accounts fixed. It turns out somehow my email got tagged onto DH on an existing reservation. That caused some kinda back end error which is why it affected both accounts. Customer support was able to fix DHs easily. Mine otoh..well when that didn't do it we discovered my email somewhere hadn't been spelled correctly. Which is annoying because my email is exactly my full name @. Fixed that. Then it turns out the system was responding as if I had another account which no I've never logged in with a different email. The customer support dude said he couldn't find my evil twin, and in the end referred my account to IT. It's almost comical how much was wrong with my account.
