Pearl Harbor and Luggage

Would it be safe to have luggage in our car at Pearl Harbkr? Was thinking of visiting on the day we change hotels from Waikiki to Aulani. Thanks!

The parking at Pearl Harbor is notorious for car break ins. Perhaps if your luggage was in the trunk safely out of sight? If you're going to do this, put your luggage in the trunk before you leave the hotel that morning. And don't leave anything visible inside the car.

I would recommend dropping your luggage off with bell services at Aulani and then heading out to Pearl Harbor.

Do not keep your luggage in your car anywhere on Oahu, especially Pearl Harbor and other popular tourist locations. Thieves in these locations will be on the lookout and watch people open their trunks to get something or place something. Even if they don't see you place anything in the trunk, if you grab something from the trunk they assume there are other objects in the trunk for them to borrow and then sell.
