Would scheduling Pearl Harbor between 9-10 am touring time and doing the swap meet in the same day be too much? Looking at doing the on a Wednesday in July if that matter.
I think it's doable, but for me, i would go to swap meet first, It's kinda annoying when you shop and you're all sweaty, lol. It gets really hot mid day. Both times we went, were in July.
No, that wouldn't be "too much". Many people do it that way. The swap meet is fun and the number of vendors is huge, but you quickly realize that after a few sections that things are pretty much a repeat. If you spend an hour at the swap meet you'll see plenty.
Thank you for the responses - but I have an off the wall question - everyone keeps mentioning about the heat. What type of heat are we talking about - high 90s - 90% humidity no breeze type heat ( that is what my summer temps are - but that is actually the temps we are supposed to have next week lol) or something else? 100s?
We didn't find the temperatures on Oahu to be an issue. Its pretty much the same every day. Check out the average temperatures at www.weather.com. Be aware that the island has climate varies depending on what side you are on.
We did the island circle tour in April and the driver said that they will be tearing down Aloha stadium in the near future. Not sure on or if that will affect the flea market
