Hi y'all. I am new to this forum and love the great family advice given here. Anyone travelled to DL with a seriously allergic child before? Our DD5 has a deathly peanut/salmon/tuna/trout allergy and I am so anxious about restaurants etc. I know that there is not much I can do but ask all the right questions and carry her epi-pen. Guess I am just looking for moral support. We head there in September. :earsgirl:

Disneyland or Disney World?

There are thousands of people with severe food alleriges that travel to WDW every year, you are not alone. The key is to talk to the chef's beforehand to make arrangements for a meal that will work for your child. They are very good about cross contamination issues. In the food courts and counter service places you will have more of an issue, and often it's hard to get a straight answer, I'd try to stick to sit-down. Also STAY AWAY FROM BOMA! This is a nut/seafood alelrgy nightmare!
