Are there any peanut safe option at Main Street Bakery? We are good with made in the same factory but not any traces.

Will not even go in if there are not or if they are unable to assure us they are safe.

The only way to know for sure on YOUR visit is to go in there (send an adult if the child has the allergy so they aren't tempted/saddened if the answer is no) and ask.

Every time we've been all the regular bakery items we are told are "may contains" because they cannot assure the item wasn't cross contaminated in the process of making it - or pulling it out and putting in the case, etc. My guess is that some of the items are likely safe but it would be purely a guessing game to figure out which ones.

They do sell special "allergy" food items which have recently changed - used to be Divvies and are now something else. These are prepackaged. He had some gluten free cookie that he liked (he is allergic to nuts not gluten but this was nut free as long as you can eat coconut). The cookie wasn't awesome though.

As an FYI on our recent trip I noticed the Mickey head shaped rice krispie treats (at least the chocolate covered ones) had a "made in a facility" warning only on them and my son's allergist has cleared those items for him to eat -so he did have several (we bought extra and brought them home) with no problems. He also was able to buy some of the prepackaged Goofy candy that was "in a facility."

I won't let him get desserts out of the bakery case there though.

thanks...we are ok with made in the same factory as well but we know that many times the products that are made in the same factory have a "may contain" label. It's not a big deal to skip it. He is happy with soft serve ice cream which we are good with so we will be fine. WE have recently found MANY products that used to say, "made in the same factory", now say," may contain"...his favorite cereal bars for one:headache:
