Can anyone help a Homeroom mom who has to buy candy for some treats bags that have are BOTH gluten free and peanut free. Thanks.

We are going to do some noncandy items but the teachers wanted candy as well.

Much of the Wonka candies are gluten free.

3 Musketeers are GF, but they may be made in a facility that has peanuts so you need to check the sensitivity level. Plain M&M's are GF but I am sure they are made in a peanut facility.

Take a look at this list to narrow down the GF options: http://www.celiac.com/articles/2232...andy-and-Treats-for-Halloween-2010/Page1.html

Three Museketeers and M&M's are no good for peanut allergies.

also Dum Dums are said to be safe too..

I would assume any sugar, non-cholocate candies are OK: lolipops, taffy, licorce, gum, sour patch kids, swedish fish, etc.

I think Jelly Belly candy is considered a safe bet.

Are your Jelly Belly jelly beans gluten-free?
All flavors of Jelly Belly beans are free of gluten. We do not use any wheat, rye, barley, or oats in the basic recipe for Jelly Belly jelly beans. The modified food starch listed on the package is cornstarch.
If I am allergic to peanuts, can I eat Jelly Belly jelly beans?
Please continue to carefully check all ingredient statements on packages and bulk bins for peanut ingredients. We discontinued Peanut Butter flavor of Jelly Belly beans (this flavor contained peanut butter and peanut flour) however, it is possible this flavor may still be included in packages sold in retail stores.
None of the other flavors of Jelly Belly beans contain peanuts as an ingredient. We no longer process peanuts in our manufacturing plants.
Are Jelly Belly jelly beans dairy-free?
Yes. We work very closely with all of our ingredient suppliers to ensure that all ingredients are free of dairy.

My nephew (now on a g-tube) had to go completely top 8 allergen free for quite a while, so I can help with this one.
Dum-Dum suckers are absolutely safe! In fact, DNephew eats them even with the tube.
Pixie Stix are another good one.
Enjoy Life products are also gluten and allergen free, but can be $$$$$$

If you ever want to do a great, safe treat, try cotton candy. Another safe food.
