Hi friends!

I will arrived at WDW on Thursday this week, and I'm staying at Pop for the first time. It's a gal pal trip and we are trying to do an all carry on trip flying Delta and using only ME. I follow Bright Line Eating, and I eat the same thing for breakfast every day...instant grits, bananas, and peanut butter. (Seriously, it's delicious!) I plan on bringing my instant grit packets in my luggage, I know I'll have to trek to the food court to use the microwave, and I'm confident I can get my bananas at the food court. However, I just realized that I can't bring a small jar of peanut butter in my carry on. Can I buy a jar of peanut butter in Pop's store/gift shop? I'd hate to do a Shipt delivery for just one jar of peanut butter.

Any intel would be awesome! Thank you!!

I am not sure if they sell peanut butter at the Pop store, but perhaps instead of bringing a jar of peanut butter with you perhaps you could buy some single servings at a store at home and bring those in your carry on. Also you might be able to use the coffee pot in your room to get hot water for your instant grits.

I was just at POP and was very tempted to “help” myself to the shelf of small PB packets just sitting there. So yes ask for the tiny packets cause they are there and they have a lot.. Also had nice selection of fresh bananas which surprised me,I am particular about my bananas too!

Can’t say we’ve done it post-Covid, but they used to have single servings of peanut butter in the food court near the baked goods such as bagels. We used to buy a couple pieces of bread and take one (and some jelly from the condiments area) and make a PB&J sandwich for our child. It’s not clearly “free”, but it also didn’t appear to cost extra when we purchased the bread. If you buy something, it’s probably just considered a condiment (or we were inadvertently stealing)
They did not have any during our last trip due to mobile only ordering, but now that it’s back to “normal”, they might have them again.

Another thing to try: DVC resorts tend to have a small grocery and the Riviera or one of the Boardwalk resorts might have a container. I found a grocery list for Riviera online that suggests they have a 12 oz Jif for $4.29.

You guys are awesome! I don't know why I didn't think of peanut butter packets! I'll look for some in my local grocery stores to stick in my carry on before i go, and if can't find any, then I'll look for the peanut butter packets near the condiments when I buy my bananas. I also know I can check out Riviera for a jar! Disboard folks, thanks so much!!

I have seen small jars of peanut butter in the AoA gift shop before. They tend to have more grocery items because of the kitchenette in the suites.

If you're flying, I think peanut butter is considered a liquid and whatever you put in your caryon bag has to fit in the ziploc bag with your toiletries. If you're planning to put some in your carryon bag, you'll want to check the rules so you don't have to throw it out at the airport.

Have you looked into Justin's Nut Butters? I know they have almond butter in individual serve packets - I'd imagine they have peanut butter too (I just don't know because I'm allergic so I've never paid attention). Those could go into your ziplock bag in your carry-on (I know that because I've taken the almond butter ones before).

I also do PB for breakfast a lot. I actually like PB2 or the like (powdered PB). Great for Carryon luggage and easy to travel with. Less protein than the actual product but still enough to give me a good start on the day.
