Peanut allergies - Tea Party & ice cream carts

Just wanted to pass along that I called about the Wonderland Tea Party we have booked in a couple weeks and they no longer serve anything with peanuts or nuts! YIPPEE!!!

Also, as of now (This always seems to change every year I call...) the only three frozen treats at the carts that are safe are the Itzadoosie and the strawberry and orange bars.

Thanks for the tea party info! That's great news. We are planning on doing that on our next trip. What do they serve at the tea party?

We just got back from WDW and I can confirm that the Itzadoosie and the strawberry and orange bars are the only ones that were safe for our peanut allergic daughter.

Hi. They told me cheese sandwiches and strawberry fluff?!?

I'm gonna call and verify again the day before. I asked her if I needed to be concerned about cross contamination issues and she repeated if her only allergy is to peanuts she will be fine.

Did your daughter eat all three of those treats?
Did they tell you at the carts these were safe, too?
Wondering if they've been informed lately on this matter...

Thanks for the tea party info. I hope your DD has fun! I'd love to hear about it when you get back.

My DD only had the strawberry bar. I read the label to make sure it was OK, but I didn't ask the CM working the cart. I had spoken with someone from MK Food and Beverage office right before our trip and she said the Itzakadoozie and orange and strawberry bars would be OK, but not the Mickey bars or anything else from the carts.
