Hello. Are the currently posted menu prices at WDW restaurants considered "Peak Season" pricing? We're going to the World on 10/2 (NOT on the dining plan) and I'm trying to budget for a few meals within WDW. We're doing a lunch at Crystal Palace and a dinner at Chefs De France. When I checked the menu/prices they seemed incredibly expensive compared to the prices we paid just last Fall.

Should the posted menu prices drop a little bit near the end of August as we get into the "Value" season at Disney?

Thanks in advance for your answers. :goodvibes

It may cost more, but that's not because of the official Disney peak pricing. That applies only to buffets, family style and fixed price restaurants (any restaurant where payment is made per person instead of per individual item ordered).

So that might be the case with Crystal Palace, but not with Chefs de France.

10/2 is not even a traditional peak season, and prices have been steadily rising.

Also, you really can't go by menus posted on the internet for complete accuracy. They are not necessarily accurate at the time you are reading them, or at the time you actually go to WDW. You can get an idea of when they were posted, but not when they were actually acquired. Use them as guidelines for the ballpark price of a restaurant, or the types of dishes they serve.
