Someone a few weeks ago reported that they were going to be staying here on a recent trip and I am wondering what they thought of it. Anyone who has stayed here I would love your opinion on it. Thanks

That was me. :) We stayed there Friday-Monday. It was all right, room service was pricey so we didn't use it. Free breakfast was good, oatmeal, cheerios, rice krispies, milk, juice, coffee, bread for toast, donuts, fruit and probably something else I'm missing. We had a 1 bedroom suite, the kids slept on the fold out in the main room and we had a king size bed. The beds were comfy, the room was a decent size. The toilet flushed quite loudly and we could hear the neighbors through the wall...not horribly but we could hear them. Staff was nice, valets were good, there is an $8 a day parking/valet fee that you pay directly to the valet upon departure. Ummmm, we didn't use the pool but it's supposed to be heated so it would probably be nice. It is completely covered and tiny!!!! I've never seen a hotel/resort pool so small. We used our Shell Explorer points to stay and we've already decided that we won't use anymore points on that resort. It was definitely too far to walk to the parks and the shuttle is $3 per day per person over 9 and you had to wait for what felt like forever at the DL shuttle stop.....IMO it was not worth it and we will be staying on Harbor for our next visit.

If you have other questions please let me know and I'll do my best to answer them.

We stayed the 3rd through 10th. The room we had booked was 2 queens and the room we were given had two full sized beds, so we asked to change. The room was nice and since there was 5 of us...it was nice for our teen to close himself off in the sitting area. He slept on the pull out and it was HORRIBLE. We should have asked for an additional mattress. If you have a family with little ones above you, you ll hear them for sure!
The breakfast was fine..toast, cold cereal, oatmeal, funky tasting hard boiled eggs, pasteries, coffee tea and juice.
We had groceries delivered from Vons (water, lunch meat, bread, snacks etc) and the fridge was a fair size.
Our kids swam in the pool and it was fine..they enjoyed it.They have towels at the pool. There is also a small gift shop that had some cute things for a pretty good price.
The negative:
Be very careful when getting your shuttle passes..the girls at the desk who sell them...often sell tickets that have been dated stamped already. We had to get off the bus (all 7 of us) with tickets we had just gotten an hour before and we saw 2 other families have the same problem. So make sure your tickets have NOT been date stamped on the back...you will do this on the bus. We felt like the girls behind the desk were pulling a fast one as one gal had a binder full of already stamped tickets she was selling. Where are they getting these tickets from???
Positive:
You can call down to the desk with your flight info and they will ckeck in online for you and print your boarding passes for free.

I don't think I would stay again because of the parking fee..I think they should offer it for free and I also felt it was tacky to charge for the internet in the lobby.
Our room was very clean, staff was helpful and unlike the other poster..the shuttles seem to run often..we did not have to wait long.

We had no problems with our shuttle passes, they were not stamped until we used them the next morning. We bought ours when we checked in Friday night/Saturday morning. The shuttle ran during the day all right, it just seemed that at night it took forever. Maybe not but that was how it felt.

I believe my DBF did but I don't know for sure. He picked the car from the valet. We knew where our van was in the lot and the day we checked out the girls and I actually went and put our bags in while M was checking out, the valet seemed a bit put out because of it but I didn't care. He said something to the effect of "I'm bringing it out" and kinda rolled his eyes at me when I didn't stop putting my stuff into my car. LOL
