I've not heard anything about this hotel, but its a great price, includes breakfast and accomodates my family of 5. Has anyone have anything to say about it? Is it too far to walk? How are the rooms? Any advice would be appreciated? We're planning on going in December.

Thanks!

We stayed here many times and on the last trip we had items that were taken from our room. When we confrontd the maid, she greed that she had it and would return it...When we involved the manager, she suddenly did not speak english and denied it...
If you choose to stay here, do not leave anything in the room....
We have stayed at the Marriot Townplace suites near there and have had a great stay...just a little FYI

We stayed there last year and I liked the accomodations- we had a suite, which I think all of them are.... it was clean and comfortable, but not really close enough to walk unless you don't mind a long walk- but it was just a short drive. the breakfast was a little busy on the mornings we went in and I don't think there was a whole lot offered. The parking lot is small, but they park your car for you and get it out for you too when you want to leave. For our family, the only bad thing was the distance- we want to stay closer to the park.

Peacock is our timeshare property in Anaheim (Shell or SVC), we've stayed there a lot. Just this year we stayed once in Jan, once in Feb, once in March, once in May. Points are used but we would still stay here. Last year we were here three or four times. Anyway, we've NEVER had ANYthing taken from our room, not once. We have had issues with others around us being extremely loud but that's not a staff issue. Be aware there is a mandatory valet fee of $8.00 per day, the lot is extremely small so they have on site valets and you have no choice but to use them. The valets are all very nice, giving the level of service you'd expect from the Hyatt or the Hilton really. The rooms are nice sizes, we like the rooms with 2 queens and the sofa sleeper in the living room area, you will get utensils, plates, cups, microwave, fridge, coffee pot etc etc. These units do not have full kitchens but if you have leftovers or take out you'll have everything you need to eat comfortably. The breakfast is one of the better free ones out there, donuts, toast, coffee, juice, milk, cereal, fruit. The walk, when we stay here we drive, we don't walk. DBF and I did stay and walk in Jan, but it was just the 2 of us that trip, we don't walk with the kids. We have PAPs tho so we have free parking, we just drive and park instead of walking. ART does pick up and we did ride it last year but the bus was very crowded and we ended up standing, even the kids stood because none of the adults would give up a seat for a child. The walk took DBF and I about 15 min in the mornings, then we took a taxi back at night for about $5.

Ive stayed here 2 times. Both rooms were very nice but we also had a few things that went missing, a CD and a hat. We asked about it but were told there was nothing in the lost and found???? Dont think I would stay there again because of this. But the rooms are nice, breakfast is OK, we didnt mind the 10-15 min walk and the pool was ok sized. Our hotel of choice now is Hojos!
