PC to OIA Hwy 528 Closed

Tug boat hit the bridge. All traffic stopped on Hwy 528 Westbound. Parts of cement from bridge fell into the river.
Update:
Per news update East bound 528 now closed and you must exit at US 1. Take US 1 south to Hwy 520 E to A1A turn north to get to the port.

your alternate from the port area is to go south to 520 .... this is the nearest alternate bridge across the Indian River. You can then use US1 or 95 to go north to rejoin 528

OR stay on 520, it will also join 528 west of 95

one news report says ALL lanes closed . . . if coming FROM Orlando I'd get off at 520 and proceed east to SR 3 at least

Not sure I would want to be among the first to traverse this bridge if it was hit so hard that some chunks of concrete were knocked loose……..yikes...
