Hi All,

It's been a while since I've taken the Disney bus from Port Canaveral to Orlando Airport.

When the bus drops you off at the airport is there an area (or near) for curbside check in for Southwest Airlines? Will I have to transport my luggage to the check in area? Are there porters there?

We travel with a lot of suitcases and have 3 little ones in tow, so curbside check in is a life saver for us.

I know if we book a private van they will drop us off at the departures lane in front of the curbside check in station.

I'm debating on taking the Disney bus or booking private transport.

Thank you in advance for the help.

I believe they make one curbside stop at each terminal. Not sure how close the stop is for a specific airline though.

We took the Disney bus from Port Canaveral to the Orlando airport for Southwest airlines. We were far away from the check in counter, and needed to use a porter and elevator. It was a long walk.
The lines were horrendous at the airport on a Saturday morning. We were so happy to have a porter at the airport.

I remember being dropped off on the bottom level by the bus (same area where you board the bus to the port) and having to take either an elevator or escalator up to the check in area/bag drop area. Maybe things have changed.

The last two times I have done Disney transfers, they made one stop on the B side. Southwest is on the A side. Porters are available, but you may need to track one down.
