pc hook-ups

Hi all,

Do they have computer hook up at the rooms? We will be staying at PCR, and CBR.
I thought I heard they have dataports on the phones. Is this the samething.?

It depends on what you mean by computer hook up.

A dataport is just an extra jack on the phone so you don't have to mess with unplugging the phone to dial out with your modem. CBR has these.

If you mean hi-speed access then no CBR doesn't have it. Disney is adding hi-speed access to the resorts but they are starting with the resorts with convention facilities and then the DVC resorts.

From what I am to hear, Pop Century will feature a dataport near the table. All other resorts are in the phone itself. My tourguide referred to them as "data ports" but I'm assuming it's an extra phone jack for a modem. As soon as I return back from my vacation, I've already put it on my agenda to inquire more deeply on the issue.

CBR has the dataports on the phone between the bed. We always bring a long phone card so we can put the laptop on the table in the room.
