PBV vs. BLT vs. BCV

We stayed at GF and didn't love it. Prefer BLT transport/location better.

So maybe we'll look out for a 100 point BCV and try for a small PVB. What is the advantage of the Community Hall? Think that might get us the best of all worlds. Thanks for the help!

Community Hall is a place the kids can do crafts (paint, color, ceramics, & more), video games- XBox/Wii, rent out movies, and more. The one at BWV also has an air hockey table, ping pong table, corn hole, Pac Man arcade game, & foos ball table. Much of the activities are free or a nominal fee. My DS9 loves it and it is a nice break from our time at the parks. He loves painting so it is a must for us.

The Polynesian was always our favorite resort before we bought into DVC (SSR). We soon realized to buy where we wanted to stay and added BCV points. The combination worked well for us as we awaited PBV to become a reality. Our stays were mostly between BCV and BLT. BCV was perfect for F&W visits. PVB came on the market and even though we could have afforded it we did not see the value for our family so we bought BLT resale in January and sold our SSR points. We are ecstatic with our decision and plan to try out PVB studios when we can. If we can't book at the 7 month window, we are perfectly happy with either BCV and BLT.

This is great info! Thank you for the help!

Might as well go with the Poly. Anytime I have purchased what I desired the most, I have always felt comfy with that decision and had no buyers remorse. If you buy BLT you will wish you had Poly later. BCV is nice, but with a shorter expiration, I would stay away from it for now.

If the Polynesian is where you want to stay and you don't mind either a small studio for five or a high points bungalow for eight (or less), buy your points there. But if you want the opportunity to book a one bedroom or two bedroom or GV as well, go with BLT, especially standard view or Theme park view. If you want Epcot for F&W or F&G, buy BCV.
